I spent my youth listening to stuff like this. No wonder I ended up travelling around Scotland, England, Europe, for years after. I see Calton Hill in your video stills - I remember it like yesterday.

Hi if you have a clearer version send it to me. Had not heard this for years prior to yesterday when i popped yet another real on to play. I suspect that if i had the original reel-to-reel recorder it would sound a lot better.

A freeze album, there a thought! some bloke in Europe is desparate to release this lot but the quality is not good enough imo

david,did you ever hear the freeze live set that was playing on touchedRADIO for a while? there's slightly clearer versions of

some of these songs on it... confession : i still dream of properly recording a freeze album.

absolutely,the guitar is the key to this track.i loved singing "tower in the distance" but always knew the vocals were ultimately just playing their part to help the song towards that majestic guitar...
