Kathleen Thompson was her maiden name.She Married Eamon Largey,he was a Newry man...she from Belfast.I believe they had two daughters and one runs a hotel in Newry.Kathleen Thompson Largey died of cancer in 1979.She was a true Irish patriot.A great lady.

Legion of The Rearguard is the official anthem of Fianna Fail - The Republican Party, but Devalera has been replaced by Jimmy Steele by Sinn Fein, which is ironic considering their own leaders are following the same path that Devalera came round to in 1926. This also happens with "The Foggy Dew", where Dev is replaced by Cathal Burgha, even though they were on the same side during the civil war! Stick to The Clancy Bros and Tommy Makem version, which is also on Youtube
