Glad to see the Wireman has returned! The sound on this post is wonderful,
too many others post with the level too hot, no headroom left for a mighty
Wurlitzer.
I enjoy George Wright's arrangement, Les Paul once remarked that Nola should be played at the tempo to walk to the men's room in a pub. But, each version is very musical!

George Wright was an incredible musician and performer. He certainly influenced many organists. I think the natural successor to George would be Lyn Larsen - amazing technique coupled with superb musicianship. It is lovely to hear Nola played so beautifully!
Ver good,Have you ever heard of Ray Bohr and the radio city music hall record?I have one and is Ray Bohr the organist?Because I cannot find any information on him.
Impeccable technique, total command of the instrument, brilliant voicing-it all spells:George Wright. No one like him before his arrival, none since and still casting his formidable shadow of influence over the music after he left us. Georges bag of tricks was a factor of the of the greatest aspirations of Hope-Jones times wildest imagination of WurliTzer. Thanks for the post!
This musician has great time / groove!

As with many renditions of this piece, way too fast, unfortunately. Compare to tregnier 279, which is much better in many ways.
