Salut mec ! Je vois que t'aimes en particulier le chinois et le français ! C'est trop chouette ! Qu'est-ce qui t'as amené à apprendre les langues asiatiques et le français?
@aaronposehn Thankyou; this should make the translation easy to find. Semantically this is very close, but I was a bit off the mark (no wonder I couldn't find it on World Cat or Amazon.com). Can you actually read it fairly well in Chinese? I think I will need a few more years of study.
@alkantre I haven't actually tried to read it yet, but I would definitely need a dictionary beside me while I did so since it has a lot of words and phrases that I haven't seen before in more recently written books. I'm assuming it might be similar to reading Shakespeare for the first time? Anyway, my copies aren't written in "modern" Chinese.

@XIXIinGERMANY 谢谢你的comments!Freakconomics也很有趣的吧。The Liguist我还没读过,但我很想看一下。
看你说德语我觉得你很厉害。我说以下的事,很希望你不会offended了。
我知道你在德国住了10多年了,但我在这边没遇见过一位能说这么好德语的中国女孩。Sounds like you have a great accent too!

你很喜歡學習亞洲語言很有趣!!!! 你最愛的語言是不是中文?
所で日本語を勉強したことがありますか。韓国語を勉強したらとても面白いと思います。韓国語とトルコ語と日本語の文法は似ている。

that Chinese classic might be translated as ON THE WATER'S EDGE; I'm not sure . I have heard of it.

@alkantre Now that I looked it up, it also apparently goes by the name "The Water Margin".
