  • It's not enough to be bilingual anymore. Many people are bilingual. Now people expect interpreters to have AT LEAST 3 languages.

  • true .. I's very rewarding.. and I fully agree! it is nonsence that bilingual people can be interpreters..it'way more that just ability to speak in both languages..! it's a shame agencies and companies don't see that.. and use bilingual people to cut some costs.. ;/

  • I wish all interpreters to be as humble as he is. He can smile! And he seems to know he's not the only interpreter in the world! This explains why he became a PSI. I'm a student, I hope to become a good interpreter one day.I also hope to keep my humility like he did. He said a very important thing that many other people forgot to say: "It's not enough to know the language, and it's not enough to be good at both the languages. You have to have linguistic skill, you have to have a training.."
