  • wonderful

  • Outstanding!

I didn't know Bonnie was quite that talented/had quite that much range. She held her own really well alongside one of the most magnetic blues masters of our time.

  • @71sunset ... Bonnie was tearing it up (and pretty highly respected) as a serious blues woman before she started making more pop-oriented music (and finallly some money) in the late 70's, beginning with "Sweet Forgiveness". She always had great chops; just not much commercial success before she started with the pop music.

  • @voyces Thanks for that background.

I've been a Taj fan since around 1969 and only knew of Bonnie obliquely until the early nineties. You're right, she's outstanding, and the two of them together are sublime :-)

  • great groove from both legends. anyone know what brand/model guitar Taj is playing? thx.

  • @glenneveaux some sort of Gibson L-5 maybe late '70s L-5c or customized Wes Montgomery model

  • @ZHmusic thanx a bunch for the reply ZH. i really appreciate it. peace.

  • Ta'sj guitar is made by Dimitri Tenev, there's a pic of it on his the DMT guitars website
