this is the arcade version, if u cant get at least a 50 hits ultra u r nor a good killer instinct gamer, i used to get 90 to 125 hits ultras

wow looks very close to the snes version :p.they should have ported it to the megdrive,the game looks like crap on snes and is way to slow,okay then why not settle with the bad guy,sega in that case ;).digitize when possible mortal combat started to look nice since saturn.

You realize that the game would have looked like utter crap on the Genesis/Mega Drive, right? The SNES had a pallette of 256 colors out of 32,000+. The Genesis/Mega Drive had 56 out of 512. The CGI sprites they used for the characters required much higher than that. If they had released this game for it (no chance since this was Nintendo) the characters would have looked muddy, soft, and low-color.

yeah i realize that,but the shitload of amount of colours made dkc and this game look like static clay.if rare decided to port ki to a genesis,they would'nt have chose the cgi style because rare was professional enough to work around the console,they did it with ki on snes and that one turned out okay bit to slow tought.snes looks like 3fps and you're average genesis fighter runs smooth while colourless but thats the artist it's decision.

megadrive can do 256 colours but rarely did.sega cd defnitly can display 256 colours,it just can do to the amount of ram via software,i think sega cd did some games with hihg colour count.snes ain't crap but sure not ready for ki,the snes misses allot for ki.genesis would handle this better even when the graphics may look like shit on a genny the damn thing is 2x as fast ans has allot of frames in screen and ai.

Genesis could only do 56 colors at a time, hardware limitation. Sega CD rarely went higher. So basically, what you are saying is, the game would run slightly faster, but at the cost of graphics, and color, right? I would rather have it on the SNES where it looked better, than on the Genesis, which would look like crap. There was nothing wong with the AI,

Look no further than Primal Rage. Released for both the SNES and Genesis, and the Genesis port was absolute crap.

64 colour,you're confused about that.sega cd used some highlight and shadow tehcniques in some fmv based games and in dracula where the colours and 3dish scaling is all over the place sorely the games is no good.vectorman goes up to 130 colours in screen,toy story reaches 170 colours in the images.primal rage wasn't good on any console but i get where ya going.dbz hyper dimension,great game but no ai except for the character yu yu hakusho same thing some games look stiff on snes.

mortal kombat,looked better on snes,played better on genesis.2 was the only good mk game on snes.fatal fury 2,genesis one is better,faster and simpeler yet straight to the point.i love the snes but the digigtzed graphics wear off due to the primal form snes brought it in.snes has great looking games but that are the ones with the more cartoony graphics,the ones that are more like genesis in graphic style.i dar to say that sonic 2 looks shit loads better then ki on snes.

ki on snes doesn't look that good serious.i i tell you flat out that the ai isn't that great.the characters look like they move with 3fps very shocky the background are photo realistic(hence the photo) and all the ai going on and frames moving is some jizz flowing over the background and the charaters and the floor that scrolls,thats it.the game ain't bad on snes,pretty good port but it isn't ported very well a shitload is missing.see it as 2 diffrent games and you're good to go.

You aren't getting it, are you? No matter what you think the game looks like on the SNES, it would look terrible on the Genesis. You are advocating that a Genesis port would be moe faithful to the arcade. Wrong. Genesis games also tended to have less room on the carts, causing more games to be cut down. The sound chip in the Genesis would have removed ALL background music voices, and for what? A slight increase in speed? And it's still a Nintendo game. Arguing that it should have

Seriously, look up Primal Rage. A game for both the SNES and Genesis. The Genesis version is TERRIBLE. The colors are muddy, the sound is crap, and the control is crap. And it's an arcade port of a fighting game, nowhere near advanced as graphically.

it does it doesn't look nice at all,it's looks like a hombrew.the 6 button controller was standard and plays better.come on primal rage is as digitized as it is crappy i never liked that clay look anyway.the dkc series come of good with those graphics but the cgi never packed out that good,road rash 3 and 3do suck in graphics,primal rage aww please mk with dinosaurs and monotomous gameplay.i prefer street fighter it's graphics.

ki instinct snes or eternal champion cd.eternal champions by miles graphically.i like street fighter 2 on snes more graphically way righer in detail,still snes is pretty slow for fighters.genesis ain't as bad as people make it out to be,it is older and 1989 have you seen anything like that then?.

Compare like games to like games. Go look up Primal Rage for the SNES and Genesis. The Genesis port looks absolutely terrible. I own both. You can say fighters are too slow on the SNES all you like, but that doesn't mean it's true. There are some games that ran faster on the Genesis, but again, you sacrificed everything else for that speed. Color, graphics, sound quality, sometimes even entire parts of games due to the (sometimes) lower space on those carts.

for the last time primal rage sucks.no thats bull,yu yu hakusho genesis2x as fast as any snes game way more things moving in the background at least stuff moving in the background.fighters wasn't the genesis it's best thing,but brawlers and action alike fighters yes.comix zone streets of rage etc.both had limited cart space but had up and downs,there aren't any games like gunstar on snes because it's nearly impossible,there arent's games like dkc on genesis for the same reason.

arcade>snes=genesis.all i want to say is that diffrence between ki arcade and snes is inmense so to say it's ported over good,okay is the best answer.some huge arcade hits where poted over to limited consoles and at times the home version was preferd just because the developers put some hard work into that.like good fighters are impossible with lesser colours,you and i know thats bull,fatal fury 2 genesis=awesome and every neo geo pocket fighter owns any snes fighter.

There is an 80 Ultra you can do with Eyedol but requires good skill in getting out of the ultras.
