umm, i think you should buy a smaller curling iron, i use small ones like if you have thin short hair, use the really skinny kind. if you have thick hair, use like a one inch and part your hair into 4 horizontal rows and just curl use hairspray while it is curling and after to make it tight. when you are done, instead of running your fingers through your hair, use a rat tail comb so your curls wont get messed up. i hope i helped. <3.
