i actually had a game like this for the PS1 and it was unfortunately a lot better than the ps3 version in terms of combat graphics.

Thanks for uploading this vid. I've been curious about this game ever since glancing over it on PSN, and with no demo it was hard to see the gameplay. Seems quite interesting, and true to the notion that it's the precursor to the popular Advance Wars series. Again, thanks for the upload. :)
