I went back to this video after out finding out somtimes video games are not just games/sims. But great advice do what you enjoy ie. follow your bliss- J Campbell. I just figured it was recreation or a wates of computer potenial to just play games.
I play fifa 12 all most of the dayor when I'm in the house anyway ,I don't watch TV ,only movies from DVD, I find playing games helps me with lucid dreaming , and as for inception ,I will keep trying to do it lol
I should also mention that while I may not believe as you do, Reece, I still respect you. Sometimes I just like watching your videos to hear you talk, it could be about anything really. I think you've got a bright personality as well, so that helps.

I had a lucid dream in which I was playing call of duty black ops. When I started to control the dream the people in the dream called me out and said I was modding, it was the strangest lucid dreams I ever had
@CaineMVCH if u play blackops mostly at night theres a good chance u will dream about it as well as anything u watch on tv. i play halo reach a lot but i cant dream about it lol. im lucid in a lot of my dreams though... great experience
Hardcore SEGA fan since 94. Sonic was my first boyfriend. Love oldschool PC games. DOOM was the first PC game I fell in love with. Big on elctronics, mainly computers. Trying to get my hands on a Commodore 64 computer. Played with one as a child. Smash Adams, Pack-rat, School Bus, you know... all those exciting floppy disc games.

Kingdom Hearts! The first one for ps2 took control over me. Ever since my xbox got the ring of death I decided it was a sign to give up the games. I agree they r fun, but I don't trust myself with a game console anymore....rollercoaster tycoon was my other addiction. I use to love creating a perfect world for my people.

In the beginning of this video you express subconscious signs of fear and anxiety due to filming your first video in public. These include a brief moment when you pull your hood down a little bit at 1:00 (to try and "hide"), slapping your hands down on knees shortly after (exasperation upon leaving your comfort zone), and the nervous but cute laughter in the very beginning. You should be very proud of yourself for pushing yourself to do this. It is the first step to overcoming fear.

And you have long hair, play guitar, sing and play video games, I went like; "wait... that's me!" :D - tbh tho, I think games are important actually and there are many reasons. You learn alot.... If it wasen't for video games, You would probably not understand much of what I just wrote :P
Im like that, im doing my research on consciousness, UFO's etc then im also watching football, play Pro Evo soccer game regularly. I stay at home now..dont go out much as i did back in my early 20's.

Dude Inception was the most awesomest movie I've ever seen that made me think about life in a different way. And i too just HAD to tell everyone about it! Inception inspired me to research and learn about Lucid Dreaming.

Yea man! I have xbox live, watch movies and tv shows, ride my bicycle all around my town, and i still consider myself spiritual. Every one has to stay grounded in some sense if you want to be close to your parents, siblings, and relatives. Plus you can meet more people. I want to have fun in this life without pressuring myself to be the best person ever to exist. It would be perfectly Ok if you only talked spiritual things. There will be a shift in consciousness when all of life is a spiritual moment spontaneous whether you are gaming or sitting on the porcelain throne. When the seeker becomes ordinary but in the most extra ordinary way in complete Realization of the true Self. Beyond the vail.
Hey Reece. That reminds me. I have three Nintendo DS systems. 1 blue original DS, 1 white DS Lite and 1 Nintendo DSi. Also I have Pokemon HeartGold, SoulSilver and Pearl, and a copy of Pokemon Gold (GBC) on my computer, along with two legit copies of Mario Kart DS for some reason.

LOL 46 year old tree huger here. yes you can learn from the younger ones. love playing WOW and guild wars even now I still play. both of my sons play age 8 and one 23. spirituality is more in the lines of shamanistic. why do i watch your videos? it's not because of product endorsements or anything regarding recreational or the commercial interest, though those do add some type of quality to western life that i wouldn't denigrate..... you are a good and gifted really communicator, with very good and optimistic energy. it's about the communication. cheers from a little bit more south on the west coast.
I'm guessing your breakthrough moment in spirituality was through the use of salvia? (as was mine). It's turned my life upside down,(in a good way) and has made me rethink the nature of our reality. But I would still whip any ones arse at Mario Kart =)

All true but I think gaming can, if you let it, actually facilitate spirituality. Gaming expands your experiences and what you think you can do. It puts you into the eyes of others if you allow it to. It gives you different "lives" if you are online gaming. And gaming gives you the Matrix like view of reality that "there is no spoon" which lets you question yourself and reality, really important stuff.

You know, video games can be quite educational as well. Just like watching a movie, it is a different world in which you project yourself in and from which you can learn things. Video games are even better, because you have more control over things. It's like real life. The storyline is set, but the way you move through the levels is your own choice.
Final Fantasy and Resident Evil are my all time favorites. It doesn't matter what you talk about, no one is going to unsubscribe just because you have a life, in fact you'll probably pick up more subscribers for mixing in some daily life stuff. I did.

I learn so much from movies/documentaries and video games, I don't know what I would do if I didn't have them. I've been playing games for about two decades aswell, and they have been my way to relax and take it easy. But after leaving school they took on more of an educational element, which sounds silly, but if you play as much as i do, i'm sure you'll agree. Same has applied for movies too. i'm not really uber spiritual, i shunned religion and anything spiritual for that matter for a long time, because the christian church tried to take me from my family when i was very small. I'm turning 23 soon and have been playing games since I was 6 :) I only play PC games and surf the net now. People say they get static on televisions in lucid dreams but I get video games :) I can also jump into my computer screen and start playing.
During the peak of the my spiritual psychosis, at the start of this year when we were all pretty involved with each other, I stopped playing games for a couple of months, tossing them aside with moral disdain. From a single player perspective it didn't really make sense, but I said no to it because I felt like I was wasting energy. In multiplayer, it was simply because my game playing caused negativity (anger, frustration, etc. in others). I'm playing again. I don't give a fuck now.
Dude this is crazy - when I was watching your last video I kept wonderin how your mannerisms and such translate to when you're just hanging out and talkin about whatever..and here you are hahaha. I'm happy for you that you've made the choice to branch out, there's gotta be a freeing quality to it I bet! :D

I love the spiritual things you talk about and have had some really strange things happen through the years and still happen and you have actually taught me and enlightened me to some of these things, since listening to you. I agree, we're ageless. I believe when it comes to learning, age is but a number!!!! I mean, when you think about it, there is no telling how old we all really are anyway, how many past lives we've really had, etc...........

Playing video games and watching TV makes me feel like Im being numbed and brainwashed. Just me personally. I would definitely watched the videos though, as long as you kept relating things to how you keep spiritual and positive. I would also like some music videos! Just you playing and the songs you've written, I love you acoustic stuff, you could sell CDs of that stuff for sure.
On the whole, TV and video games don't induce that kind of feeling within me (I usually watch documentaries and play thought provoking games), but yes, on occasion I notice a 'numb' feeling arising within my psyche. In moderation I like that feeling, though. Nothing wrong with switching off every now and then, as long as you know how to switch yourself back on :)

Yeah, I agree. Mainstream TV has tainted our culture, undoubtedly. But if there's one thing I've learnt in life: every cloud has a silver lining. If I look hard enough I can always find positivity lurking somewhere within the negative, and to me, that's an extremely uplifting thought :)
Uhm..I wouldnt label myself a gamer,but sometimes i like playing adventures that are just like good movies...telling a nice story,taking you to another place,inspiring you. I read that you like Broken Sword 1&2 - I love these games:) Do you know "The Longest Journey"? It's my longtime-favourite... pretty old, but it still has the best, most adorable story of all the games Ive ever played - very dreamy and filled with many little things that make me smile.
Yeah, right. :) Well but Arcadia is not just a "dream realm", it's the world of fantasy and magic whereas Stark is the world of logic and technology. So both are real, but people can just comprehend the world they live in...at least until the balance is distorted and magic/science spills over into the other world (in the beginning via dreams). I love the parallel to our life. I first played it when I was 10 and I guess it partly laid the foundation for my interest in spirituality.

@ReeceJones87 Sure, but if I personally was certain that I was in contact with higher intelligences who were giving me divine esoteric information pertaining to the true nature of life itself then foreign opinions of other mortals would probably not influence me in ANY way.
That is you, and this is me :) And anyhow, what makes you think that these other intelligences don't experience similar emotions to us? The emotion of self-consciousness is not exclusive to this planet alone.
I guess it depends, Reece. Some intelligences experience emotion, and some other experience less. I like to think different beings just experience things differently.

We conjure up the thought of an 'alien' and - with a knee jerk reaction - presume that the being we are imagining must be radically different to us, and of course, a lot of them are, but I would argue the point that the majority of ETs that the human race is currently in contact with are more like us than we suspect :) Just my POV.
I will still watch for sure! I would not mind hearing how you incorporate your spirituality into you normal life. That is something we all have to work out on our own, but it is nice to hear how others do it. Since you are a gamer, and I shamelessly promote the band my brother plays for, check out The Bossfights. Their music is all about video games.

In the beginning of this video you express subconscious signs of fear and anxiety due to filming your first video in public. These include a brief moment when you pull your hood down a little bit at 1:00 (to try and "hide"), slapping your hands down on knees shortly after (exasperation upon leaving your comfort zone), and the nervous but cute laughter in the very beginning. You should be very proud of yourself for pushing yourself to do this. It is the first step to overcoming fear.

Reece, The first time I watched your videos I noticed you were very much into spirituality, dreaming and, pretty much aware of the alien presence etc.

I'm into lucid dreaming (but as an atheist I wouldn't call it "spiritual" or anything) as well as video games. I'm honestly surprised video games haven't affected my dreams-I've had Richard Dawkins and Pee Wee Herman in my dreams, why the hell can't Mario or Gordon Freeman appear? lol
Personal favorite consoles are the 64 and PC.

Yea man! I have xbox live, watch movies and tv shows, ride my bicycle all around my town, and i still consider myself spiritual. Every one has to stay grounded in some sense if you want to be close to your parents, siblings, and relatives. Plus you can meet more people. I want to have fun in this life without pressuring myself to be the best person ever to exist. All true but I think gaming can, if you let it, actually facilitate spirituality. Gaming expands your experiences and what you think you can do. It puts you into the eyes of others if you allow it to. It gives you different "lives" if you are online gaming. And gaming gives you the Matrix like view of reality that "there is no spoon" which lets you question yourself and reality, really important stuff.

You know, video games can be quite educational as well. Just like watching a movie, it is a different world in which you project yourself in and from which you can learn things. Video games are even better, because you have more control over things. It's like real life. The storyline is set, but the way you move through the levels is your own choice.

I learn so much from movies/documentaries and video games, I don't know what I would do if I didn't have them. I've been playing games for about two decades aswell, and they have been my way to relax and take it easy. But after leaving school they took on more of an educational element, which sounds silly, but if you play as much as i do, i'm sure you'll agree. Same has applied for movies too. During the peak of the my spiritual psychosis, at the start of this year when we were all pretty involved with each other, I stopped playing games for a couple of months, tossing them aside with moral disdain. From a single player perspective it didn't really make sense, but I said no to it because I felt like I was wasting energy. In multiplayer, it was simply because my game playing caused negativity (anger, frustration, etc. in others). I'm playing again. I don't give a fuck now.

I agree, we're ageless. I believe when it comes to learning, age is but a number!!!! Playing video games and watching TV makes me feel like Im being numbed and brainwashed. Just me personally. I would definitely watched the videos though, as long as you kept relating things to how you keep spiritual and positive. I would also like some music videos! Just you playing and the songs you've written, I love you acoustic stuff, you could sell CDs of that stuff for sure.

On the whole, TV and video games don't induce that kind of feeling within me (I usually watch documentaries and play thought provoking games), but yes, on occasion I notice a 'numb' feeling arising within my psyche. In moderation I like that feeling, though. Nothing wrong with switching off every now and then, as long as you know how to switch yourself back on :)

I read that you like Broken Sword 1&2 - I love these games:) Do you know "The Longest Journey"? It's my longtime-favourite... pretty old, but it still has the best, most adorable story of all the games Ive ever played - very dreamy and filled with many little things that make me smile.

Yeah, right. :) Well but Arcadia is not just a "dream realm", it's the world of fantasy and magic whereas Stark is the world of logic and technology. So both are real, but people can just comprehend the world they live in...at least until the balance is distorted and magic/science spills over into the other world (in the beginning via dreams). I love the parallel to our life. I first played it when I was 10 and I guess it partly laid the foundation for my interest in spirituality.

That is you, and this is me :) And anyhow, what makes you think that these other intelligences don't experience similar emotions to us? The emotion of self-consciousness is not exclusive to this planet alone.

I guess it depends, Reece. Some intelligences experience emotion, and some other experience less. I like to think different beings just experience things differently.

Yes, it depends. Of course it does. Everything depends on numerous different factors.
We conjure up the thought of an 'alien' and - with a knee jerk reaction - presume that the being we are imagining must be radically different to us, and of course, a lot of them are, but I would argue the point that the majority of ETs that the human race is currently in contact with are more like us than we suspect :) Just my POV.

I will still watch for sure! I would not mind hearing how you incorporate your spirituality into you normal life. That is something we all have to work out on our own, but it is nice to hear how others do it. Since you are a gamer, and I shamelessly promote the band my brother plays for, check out The Bossfights. Their music is all about video games.
