@lewisx20x20x20 BitTorrent is the name of the Protocol, uTorrent is a program (Now owned by BitTorrent Inc.) that actually uses the .torrent files. So you just need uTorrent.

@ConquerOnlineNerdyMe Its probably due to your router/firewall blocking the connects. Go to portforward . com to forward ports for your router. Also, try disabling the windows firewall in the control panel.

Right click on the torrent you are downloading inside of uTorrent. Go to bandwidth, and you can set the max download / upload speeds

Im assuming you downloaded music. You have to add the music to your iTunes library. Default, for xp is My Document/Downloads/ Torrent Name in Vista / 7 its USER/Downloads

Just drag the folder with all the music into iTunes and it will self add it.

Once it's in your library it works just like any other song. Plug in your iPod, and sync your library or just drag the songs from the iTunes window onto your iPod in the list on the left side.

Seeders and Leechers are the topic here. A Seeder is someone who has the file 100% and is just uploading or sharing to others. A Leecher is someone who is still downloading, but you also upload at the same time. As for the 4(33) the "4 in this case would be the people you are connected to and the "33" would be the people in the Swarm, other people downloading / uploading that you are not connected to

The program just downloads whatever it is you picked. Either select it in your list and hit the ENTER key, or right click on it and click OPEN. That will bring you to the folder where your files are. For more information check out my Part 2 and 3 videos.

Just rick click and click open folder. Then click the video you want to see. Your video has been ready for 3 days. lol

@Xbox360TechGuys When the Torrent is seeding that means you are SHARING the file with other people. Torrents rely on the community to download. If people did not also SEED the torrent, you could not DOWNLOAD it. To stop seeding, right click the torrent and either select STOP or go to BANDWIDTH then UPLOAD and set your speed / disable. Its common courtesy to share the same you downloaded. Download an album @ 100mb, share 100mb. Leave it on overnight or something if you need the bandwidth.

uTorrent is the software that uses .Torrent files. you will need the software before you need the torrent files

That bar is the availability. If it is red it probably means less that 100% of the downloaded content is available. Try finding torrents with more seeders than leechers

you probably downloaded a dead torrent. Try searching for the file again, but this time make sure you have Seeders, the people who have the completed file and are sharing it

You have to have an active internet connection for the client to connect. If you have Cable or DSL it should be a constant connection.

Well, Im guessing you got a torrent that is only used on a private tracker, so it won't connect. Other than that I can't really understand what is offline.
