  • Incredibly it seems you just don't know how to use your Mac or work out problems.

    1. There is an acknowledged bug in iPhoto that prevents the "Reveal Photo" menu item from showing up IF you have the image at full magnification in the window. Reduce the image size in the main browser and you will be able to reveal images. I think if you search the knowledgebase you will find the article.

  • I didn't have it at full magnification. Next lame excuse?

  • @UbuntuMacDupe well he meant it being big. why want you just try what he said. because you seem to not know what you're talking about.

  • Right clicking in iPhoto brings a menu with "Show File" and "Show Original File" that seem to do the "Reveal in Finder" actions

The Mail client seems to be a problem and to get round it you need to play with your Dock settings. But you shouldn't really have to do that, so I agree with you that it's not nice.

Why not fill in an Apple feedback form so they know you have issues?

  • 1) No, it didn't, see the damn video. I right-cclicked on the video in iPhoto. While I didn't zoom in on the list that appeared, you can clearly see it's not one that has "show file" or whatever. I *later* found that you have to close and re-open to allow that. LAME!

    2) Apple doesn't read feedback. They, and everyone else (not just apple fan boys) believes they have superb user interface design. THEY DON'T!!!!!! and the purpose of this video was to show that.

  • oops, that should be, "I right-clicked on the photo in iPhoto".

  • It works for me and I just did exactly what you show in the video. Perhaps there's a problem with your installation. Post a question on Apple discussions and see if someone's got the answer.

  • @UbuntuMacDupe dude chill everything and everyone has problems or some sort. there isn't anything perfect for everyone in the world. and as we all see osx isn't perfect enough for you so you have to complain about little right clicking problems and not being able to reveal certain things at certain times.

  • i have that exact same laptop!!!! it rocks =D

    kalley

  • for the most part, yes ... it still has a lot of inexcusable interface problems, which is why I made the video.

And I find new ones every day.

  • 1. Drag the photo out of iPhoto to your desktop, Wow that was hard.

    2. Command+Shift+4, BAM you can now save that Frame

    3. Pfft who uses a mail client, I use Gmail

    4. Make the Task bar smaller by clicking on Dotted line OR quit the mail program from up in the menu OR Right click on the Dock (use two fingers, or CTRL+Click) and go to Dock preferences to make it go away.

  • 1. can't do from that screen, will verify in detail if necessary

    2. no, that's a screen-shot. I don't want the screen.

    3. Sorry, I thought Macs had great software "out of the box". And web mail has severe deficiencies.

    4. none of those worked for that screen, nor should they be a necessity in that circumstance.

  • you're a lam3r.
