Singapore are stuck with their old fashioned skyline because there's no more land to build another better looking skyscraper. The Esplanade, seriously, is dull to me. I don't know who design it, but it doesn't look "modern" although it tried so hard. I guess the designer are out of idea due to the limitation of the landscape given. I only found out most of HK's history through the INTERNET, and not historical sights and lessons. And HK do have lots of office blocks that blind your eyes thanks to the reflecting windows.
I love how HK and SG are like rivals. I love both of them, being a Hong Kong national and a Singaporean at heart. e.g Both have very similar underground systems but Hong Kong's MTR was first put into service at 1977, almost a decade earler than Singapore's MRT (1987) which Singaporeans claimed was designed and developed by themselves.

I don't think Singapore's MRT is similar to Hong Kong's MTR. Although Hong Kong's MTR was put into service a decade earlier than Sinapore's MRT, the MTR is more advanced than MRT.

Octopus vs EZlink --- I always find the EZlink has not been stress-tested before launching for public service. EZlink just cannot stand for continuous card taps with short time intervals.

Singapore are stuck with their old fashioned skyline because there's no more land to build another better looking skyscraper. The Esplanade, seriously, is dull to me. I don't know who design it, but it doesn't look "modern" although it tried so hard. I guess the designer are out of idea due to the limitation of the landscape given. HKers I know don't even TRY to speak fluent English. And also, what they say about history and environment is true. I love how HK and SG are like rivals. I love both of them, being a Hong Kong national and a Singaporean at heart. Of course, being the bias person I am (hey, everyone is bias in some way), I definitely prefer SG over HK. Let's just say there are many traits of these two nations (hey wait, HK is not independent) that are absolutely fantastic, and other traits that aren't quite very good.

Singapore is much better-I was born there and it rules!!!!! it's crime-free, very clean, the MRT is very effiicient, the food is unbeatable, has a very good education system, unlike Hong-Kong, we have the world's largest zoo, observation wheel, bird park and man-made waterfall, along with the best airlines and airport, also singaporians are very clever in gerneral, the world's cleverest child is from Singapore what has anyone from Hong-Kong got to say to that?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D

Hong Kong owns the name as Gourmet Paradise and, along with Tokyo, has been selected to be placed in the Michelin guide, no place for Singapore.

Transport system;
e.g Both have very similar underground systems but Hong Kong's MTR was first put into service at 1977, almost a decade earler than Singapore's MRT (1987) which Singaporeans claimed was designed and developed by themselves.
Even the design and use of Singapore's EZlink are extremely similar to Hong kong's Octopus smart card which was designed in early 90s and launched for public service in 1997.

I don't think Singapore's MRT is similar to Hong Kong's MTR. Although Hong Kong's MTR was put into service a decade earlier than Sinapore's MRT, the MTR is more advanced than MRT.
Platform Design -- there is not a single pillar between the railtracks and the corresponding platforms in MTR.
Octopus vs EZlink --- I always find the EZlink has not been stress-tested before launching for public service. EZlink just cannot stand for continuous card taps with short time intervals.

Why don´t you make a video that actually compares the cities... U've just taken all the bad pictures of Hong Kong , try to compare Hong Kong´s skylines with yours, and yes maybe Singapore is a bit cleaner than Hong Kong but to be honest it´s a boring place... I´m American and I definitely think that HK is a better place to live, they got a better society, and it´s more developed....
