@1nbred That'll suit you perfectly. =] I tend to upgrade my system constantly, making small contributions to make sure it always pwns the other noobs.
@chrisexon9 Not really. Since it's an APU processor, you could play some light games with that, but if you're looking for mainstream gaming, you should consider Dual Core 3.2GHz to Quad Core 2.4GHz (cores > clock speed in most cases) and over 4GB of RAM.
Your graphics processor is also quite essential too. Nowadays, you shouldn't have much less than 1GB of graphics memory in your card. Your processor has an inbuilt graphics card which does well for HD media, but isn't quite enough for games.
My processor is : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600k CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHz and my installed memory (RAM) is : 16.0 GB (15.0 GB usable) and is my computer good?
@alvinsuc It's probably good. Same processor as me. It all depends on everything else you have. It's not just the processor and RAM that count, it's the whole system working together that does.
@mTkCr3w The reason you only see (nearly) 3GB out of all 4GB is that Windows can only see 3GB in 32-bit mode, regardless of the amount installed. You can see more of it by using PAE (Physical Address Extension), but it's far better to install a 64-bit version of Windows. So, in the short run, you're stuck with 3GB I'm afraid.
great video btw i thought i was awsome i was just wondering what other tips and trick to speed up your computer even more as i have windows 7 laptop. it is fast but sometimes when i use it to much it starts to get laggy and freeze up..i'm usually pretty good a this sort of stuff but i dont have a clue what to do
Hey mate on my windows i am running 32 bit and i have 6gb ram installed but it says its only using 2.42gb so would i times the 6gb by 1024 and times that by 2 or times the 2.42gb by 1024 and then times that by 2.
@xKochy Hmm, it's such a shame to be wasting over 3GB of RAM there. As it stands, you'd use 2.42*1024*2, but I'd try using Physical Address Extension to see if you can unlock more RAM using 36 address lanes rather than 32.
Please contact me telling your operating system version (XP, Vista, 7) and I can show you a few things you can do to >.> <.< cheat Microsoft.
@DzX0 Delete System32 is a popular trolling scheme used to hoax inexperienced PC users into deleting the Windows system directory called System32. It is essential to the running of Windows OS and without it, the computer would not work at all.bullshit
If you are using an SSD drive, I don't recommend using a Page File set on these drives. Also, having a Page File may not speed up your computer as opposed to having Physical Ram. Physical Ram is much faster than a hard drive and much cheaper.
@FixThePC you don't need to defragment SSD's and when people talk about the write cycle limits it's not true. the ssd saves to a different part of itself each time. so it doesn't ever save to the same part twice.
if you are still running less than 1gb, I suggest you upgrade to atleast 2gb, it's easy, cheap, and effective, if you don't know how to do it, watch a youtube tutorial on upgrading ram.
if you dont know what it is dont delete it. i deleted this sound thing now i cant change volume from my keyboard and i accidentally deleted my wireless lol it fucking sucks.
I have recorded the third part of this video, but I'm too lazy to finish it off. I have another couple of videos to put up beforehand, so hold fire until I put up the last part to the tutorial.

@Trackercx D: is probably a backup disk that your manufacturer put on. Unless you use it regularly for storage, it's not really worth defragging.

why cant you triple it? instead of doubling it?
dragonode1 4 months ago
@dragonode1 You can. Doubling is just the average performance boost. I've had computers increase ten-fold before.
FixThePC 4 months ago
@FixThePC no iam talking about the part when you have to type in double your ram but why cant you striple it
dragonode1 4 months ago
@dragonode1 You can triple the page file if you wish, but that may be wasteful. Doubling seems to be just the right tradeoff for space/efficiency.
