The truth is that 'An idiot abroad' was one of the most sold DVD's in 2010, and it was sky1's most watched programme, it is a masterpiece. That is fact, friend.

Pilkers is actually very smart, lateral thinker, with quick wit that Gervais bows to. Together, Gerv, Merch and Pilk are the best comedy act since L&H. Thumbs up if you agree.

I have been bitterly disappointed to learn that this documentary is not released for viewing in the USA! Will Sky1 TV release this treasure for DVD Region 1 viewers?
I wanted to watch the episodes but the site that has the episodes says everyone can watch and yet you have to have their player but you cannot download the player unless you live in the UK or Ireland. Sounds like a load of BS to me to say anyone can watch but then have restrictions on who can download the player to see the stupid show. I love everything Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant do. I am particularly amused by the equal measure of affection and insult they hold for Karl. Oddly, Karl doesn't seem to mind the insults, which he certainly demonstrates he deserves.
