I'm surprised they carried on filming with Felicity sounding ill. Was there really such a rush they couldn't have waited a few days for her to get better?

True, but it all depends on studio hire etc. They hire studios to a certain time and if they run over, it costs a fortune.

It also depends on the scheduling too - with a lot of sitcoms being filmed during the mid to late 1970s and with fewer studios to use etc. they couldn't afford to miss filming sessions.
