I was curious on this 5600kv motor, Ive seen many 3000 or 3500kv motor s put into the electrix cars but never one with this high of kv. Is that why things keep breaking on you? I was thinking 3500kv was about the max you should go before its too overpowered and things start breaking. I am curious as I want to brushless my Ruckus but dont want to have too much power that it breaks all the time
I saw jangs review with the truck running stock. Your video is great. Going brushless is the way to go. Plus its a good priced truck to start with. I may get one and upgrade it.
@McShredder101 you can get it for about 120.. it will come with the new esc. ezrun 5600kv. is like 114, and if i where you i would buy a couple extra spur gears :)
@peroxidal LOL no thanks on the 65 part.....not even a 3s will make it go 65 without stripping the trans gear....and twisting the driveshafts....i know for a fact because im on my 3rd transmission...and 7th set of shafts so go lie to someone else if your goin to post a vid and show off dont lie to make yourself look better
@arcadeidiot3 i total agree iam running 3900kv 4 pole durtrax element and was striping trans gears and shafts with a 8.4 4200mah o yea 7 trans and 4 shafts but solved the problem with metal gears for trans and nitro rustler shafts now running 7.4 2 cell liop 23 pionion gear and hiting 37mpg and no problems
yo, i got a ruckus for christmas sadly, you cant beat it on price , but i was wondering what your gearing ratio is for the brushless an lipo set up? i just put a 8.5T brushless with a 60A ESC and 3cell lipo

@fparedes86 yea there really is no parts that fit right on. but the modding is easy. maybe a little sanding on some parts and anything traxxas with the part number below 7000 will fit. anything over 7000 for the part number is for a 1/16th scale therefore will not fit. hope that helped. if not feel free to message me anytime. Im running fuze 5800kv with 2s lipo and 2.4ghz radio. no cogging or problems at all!
nice vid,my front axle is broken and i just recieved my lipo so no test runs for me for atleast two weeks,possibly not that long.but i will have some vids soon
