However The Great One, Wayne Gretzky, said the Ralph is one of the best looking arenas in North America and a lot of other lists say the same thing.
@bigred3002 its because engelstad isn't a college venue, it's far to professional. I live in Grand Forks and absolutely hate Engelstad arena because its not a college atmosphere at all. It's far to nice and they run each game like an NHL game with the music and what not. that's why Mariucci is better, its got history, its a shrine to its players and it has the best college atmosphere in hockey. Don't believe me? Go to a game down there. You'll see the difference between college and professional

I was always skeptical about that and people have told me that but I went to a Wild game this year and it's absolutely amazing. It helped that I had club level seats though. However The Great One, Wayne Gretzky, said the Ralph is one of the best looking arenas in North America and a lot of other lists say the same thing.

@bigred3002 its because engelstad isn't a college venue, it's far to professional. I live in Grand Forks and absolutely hate Engelstad arena because its not a college atmosphere at all. It's far to nice and they run each game like an NHL game with the music and what not. that's why Mariucci is better, its got history, its a shrine to its players and it has the best college atmosphere in hockey. Don't believe me? Go to a game down there. You'll see the difference between college and professional

@bigred3002 and as for engelstad being one of the nicest, i am also 100% sold that the Xcel Energy Center is nicer than Engelstad Arena. I was always skeptical about that and people have told me that but I went to a Wild game this year and it's absolutely amazing. It helped that I had club level seats though. Cant wait for the Frozen Four this year
