  • ... Funny. The Canadian me tells me to prefer the Canadian French... But I like the European one..

  • i prefer the european version's lyrics but i think the singer is definitely too young. i don't like the canadian singer's voice either but i prefer it to the european's. all in all though, i like the european version better

  • I'll never understand what the US has against Canada.

  • @JuanDVene It's called American ego XD. Personally I think Canada has some of the best chocolate I have ever tasted (smarties ftw!!!) and you can't forget the amazing maple syrup. But seriously i'm American and I don't understand half of what the US thinks.

  • @ShadowDancer00 Canadian chocolate? That is another type of chocolate i havent tried.

  • @JuanDVene It's tasty stuff. Seriously tho try the smarties. They are kind of like m&m's but 4 times better

  • I can't decide which one I like more. They're both great. But I have a question. I don't speak French very well, so maybe that's why I'm asking. What is the main difference between European French and Canadian French? Just curious.

  • @bricksailor93 There is not a huge difference. They are just different dialects, like American English and English from the U.K. There are different pronunciations for words and some slang that is not the same between the two. Canadian French also uses loan words from English more often whereas European French makes their own words. (Example- email. Canadian French: un email European French: un courrier électronique)

  • @bronfre290 Thanks!

  • I like more the FRENCH EUROPEAN VERSION...

  • the european one is better. not saying that because im from europe :D

  • J'adore Mulan! Merci!

  • ughh i like the real french so much better haha

  • Is it bad I plan on learning French from these? GO NO MORE FAILING FRENCH 2! (not failing just a B... :p )

  • J'aime Bien le deuxiem!!

did I write that correctly? "I like the second"? I Love it!

  • I love how it has both! :) Merci!

  • I wonder what she means by "In my soul and conscience, I will forget conveniences"? Still, the canadian version is better. Better lyrics, better voice, better singing =)

  • i like the first version better in the second her voice sounds so young for a women and a tomboy like mulan...

  • Canadian french:

Merveilleuse !

  • I think at the end of the french version, you should translate "fille" by "girl", not "daughter", cos further than the fact that she won't be a perfect daughter, she don't know who she is, and she wants to know! French is so beautful & more emotional!

  • Je préfère de loin Marie Galey !

  • Martine Chevrier is wonderful and Marie Galey well she sounds too young still she's a little pretty

  • I don't know which one is my favourite.

    CANADIAN FRENCH:

+ Excellent powerful and emotional version.

    - Martine Chevrier is too old for Mulan and too much syllables added

    FRENCH EUROPEAN

+ Cute version, poetic lyrics and good singer.

    - Marie Galey is too young, and her voice is a bit too a "popstar" voice when she goes in the upnotes.

  • Remember it's a Disney Princess she has to sound mature and confident
