i hope you know that bass is harder to play and sing than guitar by far. that's why there's so many guitar playing frontmen and not bassist frontmen.

@CJS925 Not necessarily, it depends on the part you're playing. For instance, most weezer basslines are simple so multi-tasking bass and singing would be easy.. But if you're talking about a band like Red Hot Chili Peppers, it would be impossible.

I saw Weezer last week in San Diego and Brian did a lot more of the leads. Heck, even Pat got off the drums and played some songs, including the leads for 'Undone'. Rivers spent a lot of time without a guitar in hand, and for 'My Name is Jonas' everyone except Rivers took turns singing different parts. They definitely mixed it up a bit.
