At least the owner didn't put huge tacky 36 inch wheels on it and jack high off of the ground as some ridiculous ghetto statement.....next to that, I'm sure you would prefer it the way it is at the moment. Despite not being all original, it is still a cool car only updated with a few performance upgrades. But i agree with your statement, just not with this car.

I've had and loved Corvettes all my life. I've seen more than I care to remember :-) However, this is and will be "My Favorite Ride" I have ever had the opportunity to view. Dudes......I don't know who did this one but it is gloriously "The Bomb". I just picked up a '96 convertible and I can only dream of getting to look 1/10 this gorgeous. Keep on doin' what you do. You have imagination I can only dream of. Quaint, slight, smooth and most elegant !

Nice car. Although having read BelayaArmiyaForever`s comment & then searching for pics of this car in its original form, I'm leaning towards the original in regards to which i prefer. But thats because the original has higher suspension & wheels that look like they could take a good bashing, If u know what i mean, & looks more happy go lucky. This one looks better suited to taking tight turns though. Dynamic suspension & nicer wheels would be ideal!

I like it but it's too expensive. Make it possible for me to own a 283 and Holley 600 4 barrel powered 59 Corvette replica for around $10,000 and you'll sell me one. Until then, I can only dream of owning such a cool car. If Chevy can sell a new car for $12,000, (Chevy Cobalt) it should be possible to sell a kit car for less.

Did a couple of you ever think that perhaps this and many other retro rods were never restored because they were past the point of restoring. Ever price or try to locate NOS parts for a classic car? Get the facts before posting stupid comments. The only point I would agree on is if they did take a classic car in great condition and did a resto mod but in the end it's their car and they do as they please. comments!!!
