They're r so awesome, completely original style.Cindy's completely mesmerizing at this point in the band's career. She's really sounding great during this Funplex Tour too.
Too bad they had to use the dorky psychedelic effects on this video. It would have been wonderful to revel in Cindy and Kates beauty, voices, and unbelievable sensuality without that. Thx for posting!!!
3rd below, I dissagree. I think Cindys opportunist, energetic fun bags solidified the New Wave sound and gave me the oppertunity to say 'Not Alf', 'Full Mast' and 'Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm'.
I will honour Cindy tommorow and also solidified the New Wave sound by going to my local sandwich shop and buy two HUGE baps.
Kate and Cindy were best at harmonizing their vocals which was in contrast to Fred's voice and was a unique signature to the
B52's.Likewise the guitar and keyboards solidified the New Wave sound and it's interesting that the band is still the most popular and longest running New Wave band.
all live music sounds like crap compared to the controlled setting of a studio. This video was shot some two years before they recorded Wild Planet in the Bahamas. LOL
Hey there! I pulled these out of my tape collection. According to the B-52's Universe they shot these videos in a TV studio in 1978. They were using them to promote the band to NYC clubs.
love it! great memories. cool that you got your hands on a copy of my 80s music video sampler reel. you should put up the black flag stuff from 688... killer
kate has an incredible voice there is no denying

This took guts back then. Indie and Alternative were not mainstream like they are today.

Goddamn I love these cats! Stone cold metalhead thinks more bands should have some flair and a sense of humour. B-52's fucking kill!

The album version of this song is in The B-52's "Wild Planet" Album. I'd recommend getting the entire album.

Wow, early demo of this song. Does sound like crap though, I'm glad they did a good version on Wild Planet.

Not all live versions of songs are inferior to the studio versions. In some cases they can be just as good if not better.
