What you need to understand that when People like Wanda Jackson play.. especially at a place like the Rockabilly Ruckus, she does not have her own band, This was her first time meeting them, and playing with them.. The band learned she and Rosie Flores songs as best as they could, and they had just finished playing their own set, plus a set with Rosie Flores.. I think they did a great job considering the circumstances..
Cant believe I found this, as kids we used to listen to it after my older brother in the New Zealand navy brought it back from Japan, we loved it... what a hoot!!
I guess that is why when the song was released,in 62 it went to number one in Japan.. and the most views on this video has been from Japan... Japan seems to love the song... So what exactly is your problem?
She's the rockabilly queen! She was so ahead of the times espesially being a (sexy) female and that. I love her, she's one of my top rockabilly icons, and i have many more in country, blugrass, proper r&b (none of this pop chart crap today) rock 'n' roll, jazz & the blues. I'd love to be half as good as her one day. People will forever be in her shadow shining brightly behind her as she leads the way. lets watch and learn from the queen herself. Come to the UK again soon plz Wonda i love U XxX
Talk about low energy! She needs a new backing band.

It's good to see Wanda Jackson can still kick it! Full of spunk yet!
I posted a video response of my friends performing this song. I think they do a pretty good job.
