Cradle of Filth aren't actually Norweigian Black Metal, they're more extreme metal due to black metal an death metal styled music (some of it is death metalish, not all of it though lols), the use of Gothic influences, the symphonic uses, an some other stuff

Nightwish actually refer to themselves as "Power Metal" an Evanescene are more "Pop-Goth" than "Pop Metal" lol

An whoever said this band is Gothic, is a tit - they're actually classified as "Electro Symphonic Metal" which is understandable
