  • Why are all these great videos show with such absolutely STUPID, inappropriate music?

  • @obaidCarkey-ali inspired confidence in black people but I don't know if I would say without him there would be no obama, your forgetting about people like Fredrick Douglas, Marcus Garvey, Jack Johnson, Jackie Robinson, Malcolm x and others...

  • Great inspirer here u guys are stupid if you think he was a coward or a wierdo...

  • and he took on the biggest punk us goverment . he went toe to toe with them and won that fight too.

  • a country that was calling him a nig*$@ .His problem was not with the people over there it was at his home front. he had a bigger war at home took it on and won. he chose the bigger fight the more worthy to him and the people he stood for. no coward would fight 12 rounds with the best fighters in the world and win.

  • ............

  • /watch?v=CXeyptgEHGw

  • Man I would do anything to meet this inspirational man.

  • I'm an actor working on my senior thesis- its about Muhammad Ali- check out the video I have

it doesnt whatever ur going to do ali will still be ali the best ever and after him is MIKE GERRARD TYSON ( MALIK ABDUL AZIZ) YOU FKIN MORONS!

  • I love the 2:20 the way he look's at Elvis,what!!!

  • I love the picture at 1:31, Ali is like "Not today chump" XD he's the best

  • OVER-rated Ali was very good, but there r half a dozens hvwt champions better. He had a media loving big mouth, muslim, anti american and frankly was down right cruel to a racist level with Joe Frazier - and he never says nice things about Joe. I feel bad for him given the Parkinsons but I personally found him to b a dick and overrated in the ring. Struggled with most of the greats of the 70's. Held and grabbed when he was losing and had a friendly media and judges table to help him out :)

  • Nice video

  • @smokinlefthook you wish ali was overrated. Ask nowaday boxers who their inspiration was. Marciano.was a bum. Louis, robinson, and ali including frazier wete the best. Foreman jus was a hard puncher, he had no footwork.

  • I am a honkey but Ali was my childhood hero,He and Bruce Lee.My dad hated him for not going to Viet nam and so did I because I am a military mo fo.But later when I got to know the world a little better I agree with Ali,I dont blame him of any other black man for that.I will never fight for the rich again. You are the greatest of all time!!! and Cosell knows it!!.HAHA!Ali wrote some pretty funny peotry too, check it out.

  • i agree with ali aint no viet kong call me nigger so why should i fight yall war

  • Rocky Marciano just was undefeated, that doesnt make you great..he fought mostly bums and fighters who were passed their primes..get real and plus he is overrated. You are looking at the greatest right now Muhammad Ali

  • @LelandnSonya4eva both rocky and ali are overrated

  • In my opinion Rocky Marciano was the greatest of all time..

  • Greatest my ass.Rocky really adapted great2ali!kudos bravo bravisimo!goes to show y he firmly is 5o o!its not just shity oponents!

  • @mrblacksheep1o1 he wasn't a coward he stood up for his beliefs and many people in government then dodged multiple drafts because they were cowards not Ali during Vietnam the American ppl were hypocrites and soon were at alis feet when they realised it was wrong

  • Ali; Jordan; Secretariat: The greatest because all three exhibited heart (that elusive quality whereby you reach into the depths of your being for more of what is needed

    finish the job)

  • 0:08

    FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!

  • what's the name of the song?

  • @RafaelloCraiova "Tell It Like It Is" , the original is by Aaron Neville.

  • @Suitebread thanks a lot ;)

  • Best boxer ever

  • Ali was not a text book fighter are u kidding me? He had no defensive stance he never went for the body and he danced as a heavyweight. He was in a class on his own,

  • The man was fast as a bullet. His punches were invisible.!

  • wow...i mean..wow

  • He was the greatest boxer ever IMO.but such a coward when it came to the draft that he hid behind religion to stay out of the war.I still have him on my list of great Americans though.

  • @mrblacksheep1o1 Ali was NO coward. He would have never seen combat. Just exhibitions and recruiting posters.

  • @mrblacksheep1o1 You're wrong with both your statements. He was not a coward and he is not the greatest boxer ever.

  • @mrblacksheep1o1 Seriously do some research before you say things like that. He was no coward, going to war would have been EASY for him as he didn't have to be involved in combat. Instead he took a bigger blow by refusing to go to war which cost him his boxing license and put him through one of the toughest parts of his amazing life. In other words Ali dodged the war to take an even bigger bullet.

  • @13Doses Bullshit, When your country needs you, you go. 18 year old girls join.. Ali is a complete coward. Period.

  • @Trashfished Lol Ali took a bigger blow by NOT joining the army. If he joined life would be SO easy for him, he wouldn't have to fight, he would get free positive publicity and do pretty much nothing. INSTEAD he refused to join a war that he did not believe in, 'the vietkong never called me nigger" :)

  • I don't get how he was a coward if he didn't even have to fight in the war.......? He pretty much crucified himself. Joining the army would be the EASY path.

  • @13Doses Well I guess he was just stupid as well as a complete coward. He didnt have to go to bootcamp or even leave his mansion. He lived in style while brave men fought.

  • @Trashfished Instead of living in a mansion by accepting the draft, he instead put himself through misery by getting his boxing license taken away only to rise and become a champion again. How does is Ali a coward if he chose the hard way out? BTW you DO realize the Vietnam war was seen as a BAD thing to participate in right... it was all America's fault. Vietnam did nothing. Soldiers returning were even boo'ed at. Yeah only cowards become legends in the ring huh :)

  • @Trashfished : did u go to war man ?

  • @gunawanfahri i support u man..how come that stupid idiot @Trashfished talking shitt about Ali? Not going to war cannot be called coward..it seem going to vietnam and kill innocent people and humanitarian abused..thats what Ali's intention all about..sorry for my language..

  • @gunawanfahri no. However I certainely would if called.

  • @Trashfished: of chors u are

  • @Trashfished He can choose to believe what he wants. You are an idiot for thinking that he can't follow his own beliefs. You're dumb. Period.

  • @XardasDensrai You are weak. Its thinking such as your that makes a nation fall. You and the coward who is Ali.

  • @Trashfished You are weak. You can't force someone to believe what you want him to.

  • @XardasDensrai Weak?? force someone?? Just a dose of reality pal. Ali refused to fight for the very country that made him able to get rich. He is coward.

  • @Trashfished Ali should have fought for who???? People that disrespected him. He got his money because he worked for it. he did not beg.

  • @XardasDensrai Reality? You are an idiot and ignorant.

  • @13Doses true there are few men like him, he argued for many people and brought respect to a sport that was being heralded as for animals , he was a class act, in and out of the ring what modern athlete can compare

  • @heads48 Uh exept the fact he was a cowardly draft dodger.

  • @Trashfished Go join the Military then if you're so for it. Otherwise, keep your hypocritical comments to yourself.

  • @HumbleEgomaniac The military would not want my drunk ass. I do support them in other ways. Mostly educating people such as yourself who dont live in the real world. Thank a vet today. Not a cowardly draft dodger such as Ali.

  • @13Doses @mrblacksheep1o1 How can you call him a coward!?!? WOW.

  • no'ones half as good a boxer or man this this man. idol

  • does any one have any videos of the1964 Louisville, Kentucky that is my grandfather so i would very much like to see a video

  • 0:43 is awesome

  • Will is greater than skill!

  • Muhammad Ali truly is a legend. His fighting style, AMAZING, graceful and powerful. Over 250lbs floating like butterfly (or a 135lbs dude) and his punches stung!

  • 1:31- Simply badass. They guy missed a whole punch.

  • Draft dodger...

  • the greatest

  • 1:30

  • great alot of pictures i had never seen before!

  • forman won because ali had been though so much hell and really wasn't at his peak... three years ealier and ali would have been his ass

  • Great job. The music is good for the speed of the montage and nature of the photos. The song is an oldie and motown-esque, the pictures--- Classic. My only question is when and where was 2:36 taken?

  • Thats My Naga

  • No Viet Cong Ever Called Me Nigger !!!

  • from which fight was that at 1:31 ?

  • he's handsome, he's pretty and no one can ever possibly beat him

  • @NisaLavigne93 except foreman.... honestly foreman was the best pound for pound fighter of all time, ali would never take up the rematch

  • I go to LOUISVILLE CENTRAL HIGH HOME OF THE YELLOW JACKETS

  • Quality video eddiesteele.

I admire Mr Ali, he wasn't from some textbook, he did it all his own way and succeded!!

Thats why he is the greatest.

    peace to all.

  • John Denver, plant a tree with Ali photos lol get outta here.

  • Mob - LOL I wasn't saying eddie should have used John Denver music. I was saying HE MIGHT AS WELL HAVE USED John Denver! Frankly, Ali is so amazing to watch, I think I'd rather not have any music at all. Aaron Neville is like finger-nails on a chalkboard.

  • man usaauly after watching videos of boxing i get ready to fight but this one puts me in a loving mood...this is babey making music

  • @sprintspirit10 you need music to make babies???...is there somtin wrong?? try viagra next time!!

  • 1:32 from what fight is that picture???

  • he is great and funny

  • MUHAMAd ALIIIIIII rox

  • music is genius sos un amor

  • ali,, is a show man, a lot of carisma thats why the people love him so much including me,,,muhamad ali forever......

  • I love how every black person complains about slavery when the Irish were slaves for much longer much longer and were treated way worse!

  • Simply The Greatest!

  • @pegobuilders Sugar Ray Robinson has been ranked the greatest fighter of all time. and so he is. He won 91 fights in a row. the year he won the welterweight title, he fought 16 fights. He never lost a fight (pro or amateur) until he'd fought over 140 times

  • @FlyballMax joe louis was voted best boxer of all time according to boxing historians

  • @coggie88 Greatest HEAVYWEIGHT of all time. No contest. Anyhow, you gotta love 'em both

  • @coggie88 he was voted the best boxer.

he was perfect when it came to punching accuraccy, jab, his stance.

he basically was the most text-book boxer ever and not many people can say that not even Ali.

when it comes to being the greatest heavyweight Ali stands alone simply because he defeaetd the best heavy's in that era "the golden era" of heavyweights.

  • @makpak n plus there is no such thing as a text book boxer, what is a text book boxer wiv so many styles out ther n bein so many unorthodox boxers aswell????????????

  • a text book boxer is like Joe louis, james toney type of fighters.

  • @makpak bo such thing as a text book fighter, if james toney was a text book fighter then why has he been beaten??? no such thing

  • @makpak wait a second,,,,didn't he lose to Frazier??..I would think the greatest would be able to beat Frazier???...I think Ken Norton said Ali was the greatest ever!! I guess he would say that,,,Ken beat 'em.........this is so confusing????..And Ali was "Voted" the best ever???..I thought you had to fight for that title!!??..I guess Ali had the better campaing manager.hey!!..I don't remember getting a ballot???..I would have voted for Ray "windmill" White! He was funnier!!

  • brov, wat the bloodfire r u talkin about? lol. u confusin me man! lol.

Ali got beat by frazier (my fav fighter of all time). in Ali's prime he made good fighter look average. when they said he was finished he fought Frazier, and foreman and beat them. u have to lose. if u aint lost then u never been tested. Joe calzaghe, never tested. Mayweather, never tested. Pacman, tested and is now OUR henry Armstrong.

  • @makpak well,,,I would say confusing you is like shooting fish in a barrel,,but that would be unfair to the fish!..You stll just give me opinions!! give me some facts!! The guy's he beat!! their records!! You come off less than intellegent when you just spout off your incoherent opinions!

  • @makpak ,..and by the way,,you act as though it's good to lose!! Who want's to lose?? NO ONE!! EVER!!.. The only thing losing teaches you is how to lose!! Like the 'ol saying goes,,,"show me a good loser,,and I'll show you a loser"!! ( Feel free,,at any time,,to use my witty remarks!!)

  • no, lossing aint good. but wat loosing does is it makes a man much stronger. it teaches a man a few things. it teaches a man not to do the same thing again. so, u know what? to answer UR question, YES! loosing is good. if loosing teaches u things and will help u in the future to become a BETTER man then yes loosing is good.

  • @makpak those are good reasons, but that's not why he was the greatest. He took it beyond boxing.

  • @makpak i put joe louis up there for the same reasons bassically exept joe had 24 or 25 title defenses and held the belt for almost 12 years without losing it so i have to put joe up there too.

  • @makpak no, he was the exat opposite of textbook, so many experts say so.

  • @makpak Ali was not text book. Teach a kid to fight, you don't teach him/ her to fight like ali because he is the complete opposite of text book. that is what made him so special.

  • @makpak

  • @makpak well just saying when it came to boxing he actuall did a lot of things "wrong" but he was just so good that he could get away with it

  • he inspired me to to box .And now i am boxing like i never could before.

  • FlyballMax, Ali was and is a great inspiration and a role model. He was, without exaggeration, 20 years above his time, inside and outside the ring. He was smart enough to recognize a staged war on Vietnam. And above many many other things, i bet you wouldn t stand up against things he stood up at that time..

So sit tight, relax, enjoy the vids and stop making fool of your self..

  • You're right he made more than boxing giving the pride and hope to the black people by saying a simple thing like black is beaultiful and so many more. But you know what? Let the full speaks

  • @mallioufas I am actually just 3-4 years youunger than he is, so I remember the day quite well

  • ALI was a taker. Tell us, what did he ever give, of his wealth or earnings? NOTHING

If you call him your brother, then you are excused. You are Islam

  • @FlyballMax what have you given????

  • @ShevaFC I was never a world champ. Why do you try and throw this back on me? If you disagree, then so be it. We can't both be right. We can't both be wrong. We CAN both be arguing for nothing.... except silly pride

  • Tyson is another one I don't like, but he was a skilled boxer and good ring smarts. Bad actor though. Poor role model as a Champion. Like Ali

  • what is the song?

  • the most greatest showman ever born!

  • the greatest of all time, no one can come close to ali's greatness, the man made boxing what it is today. i would have given my left nut to be able to box him! even if i got my ass whooped, i would be able to say i got beat by the best!

  • He DID make boxing what it is today. today pro boxing is NOTHING compared to the 50-60's. He was a chump, and had no respect for anyone but himself.

Polar opposite and ten times the person, Joe Louis. Everyone love dLouis, 15 yrs later, everyone wanted to see cassius clay knocked out

  • But people loved Ali because of his character, if he didn't have that, nobody would of cared.

  • I laughed so hard at that comment. Because African-Americans weren't slaves right, and didn't go through a lot of bs. Muhammad Ali changed his religion because where he lived Americans were treated as second class citizens. Ali decided to change his religion and joined the Nation of Islam (Black Muslims). The lost people of the original nation of African descent, were captured, exploited, and dehumanized to serve as servitude slaves of America for over three centuries. Dont speak out of your ass

  • Chill man. They are having their payback time. Over 100,000 black gang memebers in L.A. alone have made that town a scary place to be. Many American blacks today are acting like 2 class citzens, eg the NBA, NFL, etc., but yeah, they were spat apon for 300+ years and that suxx.

Finall, do read my previous comment and Q about Ali, \\. I find him detestable, and for the record, Archie Moore has a special home on heaven, as he was a great role model.

  • Brother Muhammad Ali had speed, courage and heart.

Brother Muhammad wasn't scared to tell the truth, especially when he refused to fight in Vietnam.

He's a great athlete and hero.

  • This is a boxing fight,

    not about religion and politics,

its about 2 men fighting with their fists.

People did that long before your prophet was born and they will still do it when he will be forgotten.

    Sister Peasah :-)

  • Comment removed

  • ali was clever as shit....... tyson would have got fucked up

  • Unless Mike landed an uppercut.. he could knockout a grizzly, but of course Ali was the much better boxer.

  • but this is just my opinion, i respect other people's opinion too. There's no right or wrong when debating who's the greatest and who's not. Just depends on who you choose to believe and favor to the individual choice.

Keep up the good work posting comments , ye hear?

  • The Greatest boxer is the one who calls himself, "The Greatest" & the world in turn Calls Muhammad Ali, THE GREATEST : )

  • Ali's toughest opponent would be frazier and norton. Both are in the mid range for speed and power, that's why ali found them difficult to beat. Foreman could whoop frazier and norton anytime of the day because both of them are mid range, george is heavy duty. Ali , on the other hand, is light-mid range. Meaning, he could switch light to mid(power) range anytime he wants. This gives him speed, which is better than foreman, frazier or norton. But his mouth is the best... psychological power!
