  • goddamit dogs!!!

  • 71 dodge dart <3

  • The 70 roadrunner ;'( That's the one car I want to restore when I get older.

  • When I saw that 71 charger I nearly cried.

  • I'm a 15 year old boy from Norway.. I love cars.

    I got a Golf 2 myself, although i can't drive it until i'm 18.

Over here in Norway, these american muscle cars are extremely rare.

I think you americans should start caring more about these cars, 'cause you are the only ones who have them, and you leave some of them to rot like this.

People from other parts of the world would kill for cars like these.

It makes me really sad to see these dream cars being put away in an unforgiving place to rot :(

  • where is that guy from Wreaks to Riches is that show still on somewhere

  • I do not understand how so many abandoned cars in such large numbers? In Russia on such older machines or even drive, or dismantled for parts and on the street you can find just the body.

And you have many machines still in good condition, and they could go after the repair. Probably all depends on the law?

It's sad that such beautiful and world-famous car slowly die, abandoned by all.

  • hw many chargers n mustangs .. :'(

  • especially the plymouths where are they

  • where are these

  • i know where the limo at 3:46 is, i actually took a video of it and its on my channel, it would make a great ratrod or you could restore it and have a one of a kind, but the guy who owns it doesnt look like hes done anything with it in a long time

  • yea lets let the car rust because im to lazy to restore it but im to selfish to let it go cuz i dont want to see someone else enjoy the car some people deserve death by extreme torture for this

  • that road runner still looked alright to salvage

  • 69 amx!

  • @ notanova---I offered to let the local high school auto shop change out the clutch on my '66 VW Baja Bug, the instructor said it wasn't relevant in this age of automatic transmissions and electronic ignition, etc..... how sad.

  • picked up my share of rust buckets from fields and barns etc. been fixing em found myself a 69 Camaro SS 396 in a barn lady told me it was mine if i could get it out :D

  • there should be a law against leaving classic American muscle cars left out to rust! these cars are priceless..

  • Oh come on I would do anything to get one of those muscle cars. even if they are trashed. :( especially the chargers...

  • thats just sad, ill admit im a honda guy myself but seeing these just rotting away is horrible but it does take lots of money and time to fix something like this. All highschools should have an automotive class and fix these things up my highschool didnt have that and if they did i would have probably been in there everyday after school getting involved in it.

  • Only ........TEARS !

  • I never even saw a car like these, i dont have anything to do with old cars or people who like cars in general. I watch videos like this one only to try and understand how can people get so emotional with machines, its fascinating to me to see the amount of love people give to these things and yet so many of us lack basic human empathy.

  • @DushevnaSepsa

Cars are not cold souless bastards like a human is. You cannot feel love for a human, because the human race is so destructive...does not care about anything or anybody. The machine--the car, just takes the abuse, and hopes to someday have a nice life with a loving human owner that will care for it and treat it with care, like Clint Eastwood, in "Gran Torino". But until that day comes...they just suffer in misery.

I would rather love dogs or cars, than a human companion.

  • @DushevnaSepsa These cars are more than "just a car". These cars have a soul. It may be difficult to understand if you have never "seen any of these cars" or have only sat in your moms Focus.

We have grown up with these cars. We have always been around and loved these cars.

These cars are more than just vehicles to us.

  • A car worth restoring, is a car your willing to pour your wallet out for, a car your ready to put your time, hopes, and dreams into. Not every car has to be some over cammed, cocaine injected beast. There are a-lot of nice cars out there. Wether it be a 427 side oiler engine or a 225 leaning tower of power, that's a car you can create a new or updated life. FUCK THE IMPORTS, SAVE THE MATERIAL.

  • came across this video.....this is sad that people ruin theyre cars and then just....sit there and looking att theyre car and laughs.....oh look the seats have rooten.... ),= poor cars! they deserve a new life in this world!

  • Some of these are way too badly wrecked to restore... but a lot of them have potential! It's a shame to see parts of history rust away like that.

  • @dpoulin93

Way badly wrecked does not mean scrap heap. They can still be shined up and parted out. Or used as some kind of art project, or a decoration for a man cave. Something, anything, is better than being turned into soda cans.

  • id give that guy 20k for that 63 split window vette..easy

  • @molly43able

You'd better give him a good punch in the face, because from what I read, that car is still there the way it is, rotting in the Canadian snow...and he will not do diddly squat about it. Refused every offer handed to him from what I heard from another person that tried.

"If I can't have it (or if I can't fix it)....then nobody can!!!!" is their mentality that they live by.

  • @SeberHusky i was once blinded by this stupidity, i had a 90 mustang LX, i drove that car when i was in school, had it for 10 years, i made an accident in it, and couldn't fix it for sometime, it stayed home for a year, i refused every offer that came, but then whenever i look it, i feel sad, till i realized, if i cant have it, maybe am not supposed to, after all, i had my good days with it, i let her go, even though it hurts, i feel like i did the right thing, onto a new muscle a new 5.0

  • that 63 vette isnt in terrible shape, still has plates too, just needs a little tlc

  • i agrre with 426supercuda , everyone of these cars in this video , and ALL other videos would turn a profit for many reasons , restoring them , parts , and other duties needed to restore them . i am looking into buying a 68 Newport Custom and restoring it . Ray in Pa

  • Did someone die on that Charger?

    Jesus.

  • @therock435

Those are wet surface rust stains. All the GSD's clawing all over it does not help what's left of the paint either.

  • i want to cry

  • where dID you videotape this video ?

    LOCATION????

  • i think all of us hwo love those cars sould make some short of group or asosia.....lol don t know the word... enyway and collect money and restore them all. cheers from finland (dodge charger owner) :)

  • The Charger at 3:15 got so much potential, just look at it! I really hope someone else understand that as well and it is restored or being restored now. I would restore it.

  • I graduate from HS in 73. My dad took me down to the dealership in 73 and I remember the Dodge Charger was $2,200 brand new but they had a 73 Camero Z28 Convertible White with the Orange race strips & the brown, white & orange Herringbone interior for $3,200 BRAND NEW. I was DROOLING.

I'm still kicking myself for not buying it :(

  • @WulfBand No they didn't. Chevrolet didn't offer the 2nd generation camaro as a convertible. Ever.

  • WHERE IS THE 63 VETTE, NAME YOUR PRICE WITH IN REASON I WILL COME GET IT THIS WEEK

  • I cried like a woman watching...screw the planet, save the cars!!!! Screw ralf nader. Just think how many of these good cars were crushed sent to china to be made into some dangerous childs toy, and dumped poison into some chinese river recycling our heritage away.. screw our natural resources. These cars are our resources.. i will never buy new car again..

  • 1:01 fuck thr person who left a stingray out like that that person shold be put in a yard and left to die like these cars >:(

  • WHY? who in there right mind would ever leave any of these cars to die like this?? if you cant fix them atleast sell it to someone who will.

  • i'm sad now

  • 2:08 LOOK AT THAT ARBY'S SIGN!!!!

also i want that GTO at 0:45

  • Comment removed

  • At 2:10, was it just me or was that a 70 Cuda. how could someone do this, and how could nobody get it out of there by now?

  • If i was a billionare i would hire someone to restore them all, atleast the ones that isn't that eaten up by rust

  • @Projective i agree with you

  • i just don't understand... what kind of a communist would do this :X:X:X

  • I sold my pride a 1969 Camaro SS that I had since a teenager to a friend because I did not have the room or time to store it anymore. Felt she deserved a better life. Now the car has just been completed and ready for paint after a frame off restoration.

I cannot wait to see her finished and take that last drive.

It is sad to see so many cars that could be pn the road in the junkyards.

  • The 63' Stingray Made me cry sad modern cars have no style, unless you shell-out $150 grand why can't we revive those beautiful pieces of history I'd Gladly take that Stingray out of that situation!

  • was i the only one that cried ;(

  • @426supercuda No bro as a MOPAR guy myself when I saw the T/A and the AAR I wanted to kill somebody! I cant stand to see cars like these in yards when all the teens out there just want to be in some lil pos ricebox! I think these kind of cars should be donated to schools auto shops so that they can be restored and sold at auction to raise money for school programs instead of being taken to a crusher or just left to rot!

  • @notanova im 14 years old and most kids my age are into those piss pots with those stupid ass mufllers old muscle for life....

  • @notanova

The thing is...school auto shops...kids that work there don't have the experience required to restore the advanced decay that these cars suffer from.

  • @notanova i buy old Mopar all the time that needs some work..... than i crush em myself :D

  • @notanova Thats a brilliant idea. Now if anyone who had these cars gave a shit.

  • @426supercuda No, you weren't.

  • 2:54 killed me inside, Cars like these don't deserve this treatment, they deserve to be perfect condition, they deserve to be in a garage, being polished and looked at everyday.

  • please the name of that music please

  • Sometimes when i look at thease pics, i wonder the history of thease cars. For example that -72 AMC Javelin on 1:26. who bought it? Why was it crashed and how? It looks pretty bad

  • I CRIED :(

  • DAM LISTENING TO THE MUSIC AND LOOK AT THESE MUSCLE CARS MADE ME CRY

  • i was ok until i saw the cuda... :((

  • 7 peeple drive a shity nissan leaf

  • think though, someone loved each and every one of them at one time! The story's they could tell. 3:54 needs to be restored just to take a trip to Woodstock.

  • i wish i could have that 63 stingray, that 67 gto, that aar and frt and the t/a

  • wow i actually got kinda sad....... funny how a machine can have an emotional effect on u.....or maybe its this jay im smoking

  • thanks brings back alot of memories of fast cars and fun times....hate to see em all rusting away !

  • 1:03 man thats a shame restorable 63 vette :D

  • I wish I could restore the Fire Truck

  • I can't post timeframes, what's going on?

  • 3:42: I would definitely restore the Fire Truck and keep it for myself

  • 3:42: I would definitely restore the Fire Truck and donate it to my local fire station.

  • 3:15: Do you really need SIX dogs to guard the Charger?

  • that green screen at beginning tricked me into thinking my 'enable hardware acceleration' was checked.

  • 63 split widow vette is a crying shame to be in that place as well as alot others. Wheres this place at?.

  • The '67 GTO and that '29 Ford Dump are worth their weight in Gold.

    I hope someone grabs them.

  • What happened to Moby!?

  • the yanks can build some god dam ugly cars...yet some that are so beautiful

  • ... nice music!

  • The song is by Laura Shay. It's called: Are you happier now.

Thanks for the music and video.

  • @chuckdd20

Yea. Had to AudioSWap. That song goes out to all the pricks that leave these historic cars to rot away unprotected until they are not worth a damn thing but scrap metal.

Hey hoarders! Are you happier now?

  • Почему вы так поступаете со своей автомобильной историей? Ведь эти машины достойны жизни но они гибнут на свалках,смотря это видео сердце рвется из груди.

  • man i want that white 71 javelin is it for sale??

  • that '77 442 made me sad this video made me really upset :(

  • I'LL FIND U SOMEDAY CARS!!!!!!!!!! RIP til then

  • Charger, GTO, and the Corvette, I would of taken completely restored them and take care of them like they were my one and only. Never in my mind would I even think of sellin one of them. One thing ill never understand is why people let such nice cars go down the drain. theres still hope left for them. Its alot of work. But the work involved isnt what matters. Its the cars them selfs that matter!!!! Who cares about how much work theres invoved!!!!!

  • omg this is history rotting before our eyes..

  • You'd have to be brave, foolhardy or stupid to restore these cars.

But I would kill for that 67 Pontiac GTO

  • now how can u leave a vet in that place that honestly could be restored with minor work

  • (Sigh) may these cars rest in peace

  • it so sad ecsept for the arbes sine

  • Wow what a shame. There are some real classics there! The green '71 Charger at the beginning kinda got to me. The kid on the corner I used to play with growing up, his mom had a car exactly like that. I remember always running down the alley to see if they had left yet for school on days it was raining, trying to catch a ride. The Dodge Dart also brought back a few memorys as well!

  • I'm gonna cry. Especially after seeing all those Chargers and that '79 Trans Am :(

  • and what about the pic of the 71 jalelin? who fuckn cares when theres a 60s trans am right next to it?!

  • a tear falls from my cheek!!!

  • I was reluctant to change the song, but as it turns out, both the title of the song and the song itself actually fit well!

All you brain damaged hoarders out there: "Are You Happier Now?"

  • little fact: javilins are not muscle cars. musle cars are cars with more then 2 seats

  • @RKO13Viper13

I don't know what kind of goofy-assed logic that is, but it's wrong. That means that a taxicab is a muscle car, right? Man, I better get one of those! I will smoke everyone at the race track in a taxicab!

The AMC Javelin is classified as either a Pony Car or Muscle Car.

  • @SeberHusky its a sports car... like the corvette

  • im only 17 but that rusted charger made my heart race.

  • Wonder how the feller got those dogs all on one car?

Dang, Fine looking animals. I bet they all run loose during the night.

1 thumb up for the T-shirt man. He wasted it all. Good work. :( .

  • This is what those stupid pet comercials should be about on TV. "Hi, I'm Sarah Mclaughlin, everyday poor innocent muscle cars are beaten and neglected. For a few dollars a day you can help restore these American classics. Don't wait another day, pick up the phone and call now."

  • The 71 charger looks as though it drove there ? & the 63 sting ray ?? Thats the hardest for me to believe out of the JY vids I've seen to date...That bus at the end looks creepy...

  • Sad to see theses cars. Each one was someones pride and joy at an earlier point in their life.

  • 1:55 the poor charger is bleeding :( this video makes me cry !!! :(

  • The 68 chargers make me sad.

  • Damn.. Corvette Stingray i would like to have one of those.

It's a rare vehicle over here in the Netherlands

    Such a waste

  • чтоб ссука эти гандоны ебаные которые разрисовывают и бьют им стёкла горят в аду........................

  • 3:00 How many challenger? Five?! :(

  • It's hard to belive that nobody wants the 63 Sting Ray, or maybe the owner has 'dreams' of fixing it up. Sad. The 63 Ray was the only year for the two-piece rear window design, which was discontinued in 1964 because it limited the driver's visibility. I think that 20,000 were made in 63. Fixed up, numbers matching, can go as high as $100,000. Thanks ethen24

  • ёп твою жэ мать <=*(

  • 3:12 i have a picture of that car on my wall in front of me, not just a classic but a legend.

  • feel like crying because to me and many others cars arnt just cars they are each members of the family they see things they see kids grow up teaching them to drive alll sorts of things and its such a shame that they can just be left and forgotten :(

  • i think i wouldnt haven been able to leave without the 57 vette id kill for less

  • 2.22 early mg b (chrome bumpers) 70 or 71 a nice car for a sb ford or chevy!

  • There's been a few times I just wanted to steal cars from people because of how terrible they're treated.

I remember a 1970 Dodge Charger 500 with a 318, and a 3 speed Torqueflite automatic. I asked him about it, and he was willing to sell (mind you, it had decaying rust. full of dirt, and torn upholstery, seized engine, flat tires)

and he wanted over 10 grand for it.

  • why this cars is dead ?

  • in the loving memory of..

  • That broke my heart for second time! ;( ;( ;(

  • THIS IS LIKE A FUNERAL, & THE MUSIC MAKES ME FEEL EVEN SADDER! TO THINK THE: NEW CHARGER, SS SUPERSPORT, WERE 4 DOOR CARS! THE GTO WAS A SUPED UP LUMINA, & THE CAMERO IS FAIR, BUT NOT ALL THAT! THE NEW CONCEPT CARS ARE AN INSULT TO THIS VIDEO! CHALLENGER & MUSTANG WERE THE ONLY ONES THAT ARE SOME-WHAT WORTHY!

  • im pretty sure most of these are mexican condos.. you know cause they can fit..... eh nevermind.

  • Wow! I'm almost in tears, great selection of pictures, perfect song! Its poetry...

  • theres a 69 camaro sitting in a yard near my dads just rotting away. the story goes the owner came home drunk one day and missed the driveway and got it stuck in the yard. he got out of the car went in the house and never bothered to move it. its been sitting there for about 30 years now. you can barely see now with all the brush around it.

  • how did u find these?

  • i was born in 86 so i missed all these cars and it pisses me off to see all of them in ruins and i have to be stuck with the option of these little piece of shit cars today. Designers back then understood what i real car should look and sound like. It wasnt about the fancy electronics in the inside it was about the nice curves and raw power.

  • all these beautiful pieces of automotie history being treated like... garbage </3 my dad and i picked a 69 charger straight out of a field and restored it, its a shame to see these cars slipping like this, if i had the money id fix them all

  • sad ? they do more for a fracken old table, to me it is kindling?

  • 1:02... the reason I love Corvettes. I dont know why, but that one corvette is just fucking amazing looking.

  • They rot because of greed

  • Guys I buy that bus at 3:35 and convert it to a luxury disco bus so we will have a bus to go around the world an save rotting away beautiful muscle cars and restore them for the younger generations instead buying a modern silver 'box' for them!

    OK WHO'S WITH ME???

  • @izedawidka as long as the bus has lynyrd skynyrd insted of disco and stocked with bud im with you lol

  • @67chevy350 k I'll save a corner 4 u xD

  • OMFG Im about to cry :'( what a waste of beautyes....

  • Its gotta be a sin to leave the 63 split window coup Corvette sitting like that. Damn, too many beautiful muscle cars just sitting rotting away.

  • damn that 79 trans am is fucked up.. my aunt owns the same 79 tranny..and it's just as gorgous as the day she bought it

  • NICE SONG

  • I had tears welling up in my eyes by the end :'(

  • awful music

  • i literally cried. im sorry :(

  • theese are all broken dreams

  • I went thru highschool in the mid eighties. We all drove these cars. I had a 67 Mustang GT with a 390 in it. Bought it for $2200 in good original shape. They werent collector cars yet back then . They were just 15 year old cars and priced accordingly. our parking lot at school was a whos who of 60s to early 70s muscle. Any kid who worked the summer part time could afford a nice muscle car then.

  • @turfturbo my dad had a 73 charger se in 82. his freinds had javelins, novas, mustangs, ect. my dad is resposible for the destruction of 4 demons, 2 ambassadors, a chevelle, 2 falcons and several full sized late 60's chryslers. he said u used to go down the local auction and buy them for a few $100. he'd buy one beat the hell out of it for a week or just crash on a backroad and leave it, junk it and move onto the next one.

  • @turfturbo those must have been the days.....

    1st gen camaros/mustangs/chargers

    cheap gas

    cheap insurance

wish i was around 18 back then

  • @turfturbo Ain't that the truth. Well said.

  • do u know if there are any chargers or cudas or any mopars for sale

  • What town was this in?

  • these were posted in 2008.doubt if any of them are around.

  • i like the fire truck at 3:44

  • makes me want to cry

  • Why people doing that :'( Muscle's need a new life somewhere in 2011 and 2012

  • cool

  • If I'd have enough money I'd have all of them and store them in a heated garage with some kind of anti rust untill a buyer shows up, just so they won't go any further! Except for those trucks and stuff after 3.29... I'd take, keep and restore either of the Chargers any second even on student budget... Poor cars. Makes me sad about humanity now!

  • @ThaMythbuster

You better have a pretty big fuckin' garage! lol

It can be done though. If you have like, 100 acres and build a huge aircraft hangar or three, and have a flatbed tow truck and some good persuedeing skills, you can make it happen!

  • @ethen24 I don't have any garage... But if I could buy them, would probably also have the money to build a garage. Aircraft hangar is a bit OTT. Pretty sure they would fit in a local sports hall. But seriously, I don't get it, people that are this attached to their car(like I am, and I got a cheap hatchback), are usually the people who know it's almost a crime to leave such vehicles to rot outside... Means they should know it's better to just part with it, even if they intend do fix it up :(

  • @ThaMythbuster

As you know, there's more of these junked beauties than you think. If you're planning to hunt down every one of them, that is why I said an aircraft hangar. You would run out of room really quick in a sports hall-sized building. Especially if you want to create a little Mopar mini-mart, so to speak. Parts, shelves, lighting, room to move equipment around, decorations, etc...

  • @ThaMythbuster Ever heard of hoarding disorder?:)

  • @zipacna1980 Lol yeah, I might have that lol..... But still D:

Btw, the guy @ 3.15 should be shot dead.. Take those frigging dogs of that car u prick! He has a face like "Ha, I won't sell this to anyone, I'm just gonna let it sit here and rot, just because I can and because I don't care" D: Poor Charger! D:

  • Breaks my heart to see my first vehicle there in the condition it's in at 2:43. i still got her and she has never seen a winter and is jus like one of my kids!!

  • 2:05?arbys?

  • Nothing makes us more bitter than yearning for the past to live again....

  • I cant believe someone would junk a Challenger T/A or a Cuda AAR.Those are so rare, and to add insult to injury they cut up the T/A. Thats criminal !

  • my girl jus broke up wit me n now ur playin songs in ur vid that sing abot jus wat im goin thru it hurts man it hurts nice vid tho

  • Young driver+ fast car+telephone pole=game over

  • Too bad, a lot of nice looking good rides just sitting around rotting away. Nice video. I liked that Ramble with the bent roof.

  • See it so: Yes its sad, but lots of this beautys are stripped like hell and/or had a bad crash. They give there lives to many other cars of there type. Cause of on death maybe 10 other can live. I know its hard, but try to see it positiv.

  • i love hudsons!!!

  • Ill take the 63 vette. Most are way to rotted for me.

  • that 63 vette stingray with the split windows is worth a lot of money, someone needs to sell that thing

  • @wartactics

Ha! Yeah like that's going to happen...with all these people that treat these cars like this, they are like a broken record. "Oh, I'm going to fix it up someday."

The only way you would be able to get it is to sneak in there with a tow truck in the dead of night...
