  • how can people be so blind with ignorant hate as to dislike this idea... dislike saving the human race from environmental poisoning?... whether you think it's happening now or you realize the obvious that it will happen eventually, we produce poisons that will kill us... cleaning chemicals, bug sprays, exhaust fumes, radioactive waste - you going to eat any of that stuff?... feed it to your kids?... just ignore it?... wait for the critical day when more people are dying than surviving?...

  • Fuel efficient cars?? hey shit head toyota makes a diesel truck that gets 35 mpg,,but do they sell it in the USA?? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! THEY WON'T SELL IT HERE UNTIL YOU'VE DRIVEN THE PRICE OF FUEL TO 5 BUCKS A GALLON!!

its about profit margins for the car companies not saving the planet

  • This is waaaaaayyyyy more than just Carbon Taxing......whats really in this treaty than Obama is trying to sign is way more fear mongering than anything in the world.....People complain that all this bill gonna do is cut our use of energy by raising taxes u are VERY WRONG!!!!! This is gonna form a WORLD GOVERMENT....(NEW WORLD ORDER). its in the bill....if China and India Agree to sign this Bill all it takes is a stroke of a Pen and then there will be HELL ON EARTH!!!!!!!!!

  • check out/search 'climate chains'

    on youtube.

It is a compelling take on the cap and trade scam

  • It doesn't matter who he taxes. It always gets passed to the poor. It turns out to be a good excuse to gouge them for extra most of the time. take a good look at the rise in gas prices in relation to the price of oil. Oil rises and the price of gas goes up that day if it falls though the price of gas lags and never goes down as much as it should.

  • Hey, what ever happened to BO's read my purple lips, no new taxes if you make under 250K pledge??? Cap and trade would be a huge tax on everyone.

  • idk this sounds pretty reasonable to me. this would lead to a lot more investment in clean energy. sure well have to pay a little more but you can always try harder to restrict your energy usage so that it doesnt affect you as much! i think ppl should relax and give it a chance...its not like theres much you can do about it anyway...

  • change!! hope!!! yes we can, yes we can, woo hoooooo!!! I hope you like your "change" because that's all you're gonna be left with after paying your bills, retards. You asked for this moron, now bend over and take it like they do it in Zimbabwe.

  • Mr. Barack Obama, congradulations. You have succesfully DESTROYED our economy. YOU DON'T SPEND MORE MONEY IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO SPEND, IDIOT! Oh, and nice idea there.. cap & trade. Psh. You obviously care NOTHING for the people of America.

  • It's ok... stay ignorant.. I am moving to France.. LOL

  • Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

  • If this plan goes through I am moving anywhere but here!!! THIS IS SUICIDE FOR AMERICA.

  • What rubbish Alex -- listen to the Military Scientists, The NASA Scientists

Wieslaw Maslowski - US Navy Oceanographer - US Navy Postgraduate School Monterey CA

Dr James Hansen US Lead Climate Scientist NASA.

Haha that petition was a fraud -- give us the link -- Donald and Daffey Duck signed it.. show us the signatures..

All the Scientists that matter are backing the urgent need to address Climate Change

  • "There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gasses is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth's atmosphere and disruption of the Earth's climate. Moreover, there is substantial scientific evidence that increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide produce many beneficial effects upon the natural plant and animal environments of the Earth." ~ Petition signed by 31000 scientists against IPCC!!!

  • I'll sign it if you will. Lets make it 31002 "scientists!"

  • 31000 people who attended college near a laboratory.

I've got at least a dozen lab notebooks filled with pertinent data that say otherwise. If you ever wanna read em, stop by. Or you can just look at Venus through a telescope.

  • The American Le Mans Series has green energy.

  • Smokers who got the attack tax put on them are now burning plastics(made in china) on thier land. WOW. I guess that plan backfired on the control tyrants EH?

  • Jeepers that's dumb.

  • I know, that's like saying.

"In order to prove that this gun won't fire with the safety on I'm gonna point it at my kids head and pull the trigger a couple times."

  • Weeeeellllll I wouldn't go THAT far, kinda apples and oranges there. gun safeties actually work due to workmanship, the same kind of workmanship that goes into making a quality windmill that wont fall on my kid's head.

  • Actually... the stakes are right about the same.

    Wanna review my research?

And I can personally vouch for wind turbine safety.

  • I bet you voted for Bush.

  • Yeah Obama great message. We need a green revolution!!

Hey scroll up and down and look at the stars in the background! It's crazy! ^^

  • I trust the 3000 scientists with PHD's who make up the IPCC more than I trust you dipshit. Educate yourself before making irresponsible comments.

  • No you don't "drill", you invest in solar, wind, nuclear, thermal. A combination which will see us through.

Yes, there is a dispute. Disputing anything is good (to a point), especially science. And I would not say that scientist that dispute the science have been given "no airtime". Besides scientists are not the only ones talking about climate change. There are uneducated politicians on both sides.

  • Of course you invest in solar, wind, thermal, and especially nuclear. Nuclear energy is proven technology. The others, however, are not advanced enough to fill the need to replace foreign oil. We have vast amounts of oil and natural gas right here, and the technology to get it safely and cleanly. We need that oil to keep us going until alternative energy sources reach maturity. Shutting down industry or taxing them out of existence is not a viable option.

  • Alternative energy sources wont reach maturity if we continue to depend on oil.

  • IPPS? the International Plant Propagators Society. Lol. Good resource. In fact the debate is over according to the most respected intergovernmental body on climate change. From the latest IPCC report (2007): "Warming of the climate system in recent decades is unequivocal, as is now evident from observations of increases in global average air and ocean temperatures, widespread melting of snow and ice, and rising global sea level." I give up...Stay ignorant.

  • source* (should have been)

  • Oops, I guess I should proofread once in a while. The numbers from the IPCC are open to interpretation because they are the same numbers used by both sides of the DEBATE. All I'm saying is that both sids need to be fairly heard before we destroy our national economy with punitive taxes and restrictions that most scientists agree won't help.

  • This is not a political issue. There is no debate among scientists as clearly indicated by the 2007 report. What more do you need? There is only debate among politicians who find it politically inconvenient that global warming is a serious problem. Let me guess, your a conservative republican who questions all government spending? How original. Rest assured, if growing seasons get disrupted enough you'll starve and wont have to worry about how the government spends money anymore.

  • There's no way possible you can extract oil, refine it, and burn it cleaner than a wind turbine.

    It's not possible.

  • @voiceofintelligence It is if you want to destroy the USA

  • "The IPCC is a scientific body: the information it provides with its reports is based on scientific evidence and reflects existing viewpoints within the scientific community. The comprehensiveness of the scientific content is achieved through contributions from experts in all regions of the world and all relevant disciplines including, where appropriately documented, industry literature and traditional practices, and a two stage review process by experts and governments."

  • Based on that argument you're saying all the scientists researching climate change have banded together to make Al Gore rich. Yeah that sounds reasonable. Call me crazy but I trust Intergovernmental bodies such as hmmmm..,the UN, more than I trust dipshits without supporting data or facts. Nice name by the way. Good to know you don't have an ego.

  • What I'm saying is that "scientific research" is always biased by the researchers preexisting viewpoint, and self interest. How else can they defend the global warming myth when the IPPs own numbers show that the earth is COOLER than it was a decade ago... when the antarctic, which holds 90% of the earth's ice is GROWING. Scientists... and politicians don't get attention... and funding by saying that everything is fine. The debate is NOT over.

  • What should we do about petro-politics?

  • 1 min 23 seconds of speech carbon pollution, and the challenge people

the challenge question how is electricity made?

if you can't answer or seek the answer then you fail to realize the connection between resources whether renewable or not.

    again the challenge question

how is electricity made? what does it consists of? who needs to make it?
