  • Edwin Doheny wasn't the secretary of the navy. It was Edwin C. Denby. It wasn't that the lands were single-bid leased that got him in trouble. That was legal under the General Leasing Act of 1920. It was that Fall accepted bribes for them. Plus the picture you show after the slide about Doheny and Sinclair is actually Harry M. Daugherty and Warren G. Harding. Just thought you should know.

  • I'm glad to see that someone cares about past politics. I mean really, today if you try and make a reference to a political scandal, the common response is something like "Duh, what's a WaterGate?" or "uhhh, he stole a teapot?" I'm glad to see someone still cares other than me. Five stars.
