we have one kid who got a soccer scholarship to john hopkins (he was actually the one who stole it and passed the thru pass) both home and the guy who scored it are seniors

Great shot, unlucky for the goalkeeper. Also, good counter attack from the corner.

But, they had 2 or 3 good chances to score that corner (put someone with lots of bravery on the front post to get stuck in and clear away balls like that), and that defender on the halfway line seriously needs to up his game. There is no way the striker should get past him there. 2 on 1, and he takes himself out of the game before the striker even touches the ball? Poor show.

But still - good job, coach.

@nathp89 Finalllyyyyyyyy someone says it. this was really good and all but people boasting about this play as if the kid should be put into the champions league right away. It was great and everything but really the defender over anticipated leaving his back open so easily and the kid just ran and to be honest took a riskier shot than was necessary.
