Dear From The Sidelines, Actually? Mr.Lyons said at the opening of "The Adventures Of Superman".."Kellogg's The Greatest Name In Cereals..Presents! The Adventures Of Superman!".
The opening title only flashed the sponsor's name {"Kellogg's presents.."}, with Charlie Lyon billboarding, "KELLOGG'S...The Greatest Name In Cereals....presents- 'THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN'!". At the end, an announcer would say, "Don''t miss the next exciting episode in the amazing adventures of Superman...{Charlie Lyon again} presented by KELLOGG'S, The Greatest Name In Cereals!". Individual cereals were never mentioned in the sponsor I.D.'s, 'Earl'.
This was shown at the end of several 1953-'54 episodes of "THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN", because Kellogg's was promoting "new" Sugar Smacks at the time. "Clark" and friends always delivered a plug for Kellogg's cereals at the end of the show.
There's nothing more appealing than a corporate mascot in creepy facepaint with a voice of a 40-a-day smoker..

Do you know if the intro and outro for "The Adventures of Superman" mentioned Sugar Smacks (or any product, FTM) when it originally aired?
