I can't help but feel Scott's pain in that first scene. Having his hopes built up about the whole Point K thing and then being completely devastated when he finds every thing's been trashed and all those people are dead. First he lost Marlene, then this. Poor man.

Scott is obviously devastated. I guess it never occurred to him if his vaunted Mars Division was wiped out in 30 mins, that this sub-division would have not lasted long. Ever the eternal optimist!

It's forgivable since this is otherwise a great episode, but still it would have been more believable if they'd just gone with the accidental drop from the original Mospeada episode. What were the writers thinking?

@itzalldownhill you will see the "blue eyed" invid evolve throughout the series. Here he is a scout, later you see him turn from a shocktrooper into the new Pincer unit, and then finally he turns into the invid prince Korg.
