By evening (thurs.) the community was shocked to hear that Dukes' Rachel, age 15, got shot in her head close to her home while coming home from a Christmas party at Melvin A Weavers' (Skitter Melvins). This happened around 10 pm. Her horse came in Duke's lane empty and made a few circles then they noticed no Rachel on the buggy. Upon investigation they found her laying not far from her home....
@mrdeleted Exactly a guy was cleaning his gun 1.5 miles away from this girl and it discharged upwards in the air, coming down the bullet hit her in the head.

It looks like a gun cleaning accident, not a part of the beard cutting/Ordnung dispute. But who cleans their rife in the buggy? strange.

@thedemonnemo No, it was a girl alone in the buggy, and the shot came from 1 and a half mile away from the latest report.
