youre wrong sorry dude. yo udont counter his by doing yours what happens in your video is you starting up your ultra right at then end of his ultra animation. now due to ryus ultras invincibility frames he doesnt get hit by guiles ultra and since guiles ultra doesnt have any invincibility frames he gets hit by ryus ultra.

You can't counter an ultra just by using your ultra. I was playing online as Cody against a Ryu. I used Final Destruction first and he used Metsu Shoryuken second. Mine cancelled his out.

It's the same way to do Metsu Hadoken instead with the 3 kick button. I use the D-pad instead of the joystick, and you can always change the button config. if you need to customize it so its a little easier to perform the move.
