The thing about your version that I love is that you totally make it your own. You don't go for the whole rock voice that Alannah Myles has. The result is that you hit all the notes perfectly. EVERY other cover I've seen of this (prob 15 today cause its for a project) the singer goes flat when the refrain comes in cause they're trying to put so much power into it.

Coincidentally, the only other time I've heard the song sung this way was a karaoke contest I came in second for to this song....

Wow, good voice--but where is the girl/woman who sang it? The lips moving on the person in the studio did not time well with the words/singer/song, Lol--please explain. I sing this one too just added it a few days ago so was interested to hear another singer do it.

Hi Penhappy,we recorded the video with no audio,the finishished song was overlayed on top of the video so we were limited with the visual stuff,i recorded it on a small video camera while everybody was doing their individual parts of the song,if you look on my page there are 2 more songs with the same video,check them out, hope you enjoy

Ah, that explains it, how do I hear your other songs--I keep getting other singers every time I think I'm about to hear yo, lol. One other I thought was good also was perhaps half Japanese & that kind of name-I added 1 or 2 songs to my playlist. I used to sing professionally, then had a family--am now in a band that is moving kinda slow but I have been away from studio work & touring for so long that it suits me, lol. Thanks for responding!
