@RiseAgainstUK If that's the case, why does the UK, where gun ownership is highly restricted, have a violent crime rate twice as high as the USA's (even including the high-crime states where, oddly enough, gun laws are stricter)?

The guns aren't at fault, it's the people. Ban guns and they'll just get them off the black market or use other tools like cars or knives. A ban on them would just mean citizens would be unable to defend themselves from criminals, who would be unaffected by such a ban.

The .45 GAP is the same size bullet as a .45 ACP, Just in a shorter casing. Its just how they turned the 10mm into a .40s&w by making the casing shorter.

Sitting that close to something metal doesn't seem too safe with a pistol because of ricochet.

Seeing how accurate you were, don't think that's too much of a problem. Mistakes could still happen though.
