I think it's just the youngster type mentality we have today - movies are what they are - MOVIES!! We are in such an age where you "become" the video game or the movie with all of the digital stuff, and when you ask a stupid question, expect a snap remark back. Most people know that AR-15 / M-16 have no recoil - there's a spring system inside the handle, but the younger people don't know anything about weapons.
Not even Tom Savini could salvage 'Children of the Living Dead'. I've talked with so many people (fellow connesoirs) who've met Savini but have yet to meet him myself. They all say that he's just a generally c0ol person and that he's never a jerk to his fans.
I met Tom earlier this year back in September, and the guy is one of the most awesome people I've ever met. He was nice too, especially compared to other people I've met.

He's exaggerating when he says an M-16 has "no" recoil. What he means is it has "very little" recoil.

But it really is an incredible film for its Hitchcock-esk style of tension building with music, and action. not as good as hitchcock though.
PS The first one was originally made with the intention of making it a PG, his justification was that you see no knife or meathook on skin action

Not even Tom Savini could salvage 'Children of the Living Dead'. I've talked with so many people (fellow connesoirs) who've met Savini but have yet to meet him myself. They all say that he's just a generally c0ol person and that he's never a jerk to his fans.
