@yascumbag u don't need admin rights, but the targets remote shutdown policy must be enabled for guest users. which asfaik is standard on XP, but not anymore on vista or 7. So it did work in my school, an we had a blast just randomly shutding down pc's via batch files, or sometimes scheduling a batchfile that would turn off an entire room^^
