Although I like Cara...this is a thin and reedy almost poppy version of one of my favourite songs....only one person can sing this song...the guy who wrote it. Johnny Moynihan....only his haunting voice and unique way of singing truly create and capture the words and sentiment of this song. The meaning, the isolation, the sadness and regret of the song are lost here....this is just warbelling.
Standing On the Shore by Empire of the Sun is WAAAYY better than this one. IRS a totally diff song lol but check it out!!
