Great video and a lovely performance of a great song! John Scott Trotter, boy, haven't heard that name in a long time! Used to watch this show when I was a kid. For a cool vocal of "Moonglow" check out the Frances Langford version from 1939. It's hot!
Artie Shaw and Benny Goodman's versions were great recordings however, visually, Kim Novak in the movie "Picnic" was memorable as the theme from Picnic and Moonglow were infused as background music.
Tad Tadlock FTW!

Remember the dancing Lucky Strike cigarette packs? We were fans, and looked forward to checking out the top songs of the week.

Popular on radio for many years but by the time TV came along, well it was the beginningof the end for ...
Your Hit Parade, brought to you by, Lucky Strike cigarettes. LSMFT .. Lucky Strike Means Fine Tobacco. Boy do I remember that.
But the TV show just couldn't cut it really.
How many dance routines can you dream up week after week.
BTW ... two best versions of Moonglow, Benny Goodman quartet and Artie Shaw orch.
Well, that's what I think anyway.
