In my opinion the burqa should be completely banned in all countries because it looks like some sort of sick, criminal garb. It's creepy to watch these people walk around in something covering every inch of their body and hiding their faces. They look like they are crooks and are sneaking around with no one able to see what they are up to. Sure! They can hide anything under those huge, ugly draped cloths.
Females wear the burka because it serves a purpose, it protects against the sun, the wind and also against unwanted looks, it shields females in public space. There is nothing objectionable about the burka at all, no need to agree with Condell.
If a woman is indocrinated by her Religion and believes that to wear a burka is her "right" or that it is her "free" will to do it than it could be o.k. to have the burka in islamic countries. But for those women who have been forced to wear it it is a sign of suppression. In Afghanistan many women took off the burka but if the Taliban gets back they will be forced to wear it again. Same in Europe. Some men force their wifes against their will to wear it. Is is suppression.

Furthermore, it is a beekeeper suit. That is the only way to describe the injust and dehumanizing way in which women are treated in the middle east. Why should I be kind about that? How does pandering to islam make me a better person. I feel more ashamed of not standing up for what's right. Just because its part of a culture doesn't mean it is right. In our culture men beat their wive's, but we're still better than a culture that cuts off a women's clitoris to reduce sexual pleasure.
Maybe we have a different idea of sexism. Feminism is a womens choice, now we can get into a debate about our culture and the damage it does to women but we are a huge step ahead of the middle east because here women's bodies aren't feared or hated. Most religions fear and hate women's bodies and seek to control them. Women have the power, they have the power to choose to do what will benefit themselves or destroy themselves. The Middle east is ten times worse off.
Yes I feel horrible...Im sure they are beautiful under their bee keepers suit. I don't know about England...But in america we don't want your self esteem issues here...Go back to from where you came...you don't see us in your home land trying to change your customs. Oh btw...go ahead and call me ignorant or racist or whatever...I see you have found this works on some weak individuals...But for me its actually welcomed. You don't see things my way, I don't see things your way...I'll live...
I almost ran one over on my bike the other day...scared the hell out of me 0_0
It was like running into a black hole but it turned out to be a human being.
Can these women please at least wear a burqa made out of fluorescent material? Or at least attach some LED lights to it. No need to be a hazard in traffic!
Yeah, Pat Condell the only libertarian who suports more right and smaller gov, as long as long as we still use some of it to ban other peoples rights.
you idiot he just said inn his last word that he wood not ban it totally he said he wanted to make every one where and how rediciless how it is u look like a clown
I think that (and this goes to anyone supports wearing the burka or who is wearing one now) if you wear the burka you should be ashamed of yourself on a level which you cannot begin to imagine. Anyone who wears a beekeeper suit is saying "My body is a filthy disqusting place that belongs to my husband." I think that anyone who would support this dehumanizing, sexist, evil piece of garbage is a traitor to freedome and to women. You too, Gothatfunk. It is a moral choice and not a political one.
@Rainfish14 I think u should be ashamed for this comment.Firstly ur bigotry is evident when you call a burqa "beekeeper suit".Have some respect.I dont agree with the ideology either, but that's no excuse for such an ignorant, insulting description. (cntd)
@Rainfish14 U claim to be so against sexism I suggest you consider how current society also dehumanizes women through the glorification of pornography, sexual exploitation, human trafficking e.t.c. look at popular culture and media that represents women as a sex object, how promiscuity is encouraged by society. How, like women who cover-up, women who dress provocatively are also victims of a patriarchal indoctrination that conditions a woman's body to serve the male gaze.
@dan91709 no, dummy, i'm saying if i was, as you put it "afraid of the opinions of others" then comments would also be disabled. but, as you can see, there are well over 1,000 comments here. hardly a sign of fear of what people will say.
@dan91709 Can you blame him ? Whenever someone replies to Pat Condell, you condelite trolls come out in mass to whine about how white people are the superior race and down rate everything, this is because all you condell fan boys are pathetic little cry babies that throw tearfull tantrums every time someone disagrees with your favourite wank fodder , patty condel.
You don't even have your own opinions, you just mirror condels opinion and go "yeah I will troll with this" ,pathetic little runt.
The notion that women should be free to enter a bank (or work in one) while remaining anonymous is absurd. Ban the Burka? Hell yes! - and all facial coverings in all public places.
Contrary to gotthatfunk's ridiculous notion that women should be "free" to wear a tent in public - capable of hiding their identity (and possible weapons) - is laughable. You can't scream "fire" in a crowded cinema - and shouldn't be able to wear a mobile tent in a store, school, bank, on a bus, or on the street.
That's freedom, forcing women into a bag? I love how you tolerate intolerance and accept muslim dogma. Why don't you study why they put half of their population in a bag. Maybe that's too hard for you. I'm sure you would support sharia laws as well. Good for you.
Your body piercings are because of your vanity. The Burqa frightens children. If I have to show my face when I walk into a bank or convenience store, why shouldn't they have to? It could be a robber...Who knows? This 6th century crap needs to be stopped. Its nowhere in the Koran, it was born out of the muslim fear of another man trying to steal his woman...Its origins are in jealousy not religion. Although I agree that many or the muslim women who wear this are actually doing us a favor...
@gregpettijohn Go to Edgeware street and you'll see a lot of women who are covered up but are physically more beautiful than some non-religious people - Im not saying covered up women are more beautiful than girls who wear short skirts, nor am I saying its the fact that they are covering up makes them more beautiful. I want to suggest that your view "many of the muslim women who wear this are actually doing us a favor" is ignorant since beauty depends on the person - not what they wear!
true say, you should be free to wear what you want>the the problem the arises in your mind is a illusion<the fact you feel you can criticize it is not.
muslims in australia are a minority not the majority they cross the line and expose themselfes we stand up look at cronulla bring back pauline hanson one nation
I agree with you. I mean if they ban the burqa here its gonna create so much trouble, Muslims extremists devastated all of us with the London bombings on 7/7. And now they'll actually have a reason to attack. Please just let people wear whatever they want - in peace. I dont have a problem with a woman wearing a burkha just as I dont have a problem if she wears mini-skirts and boob tubes as long as she doesn't cause me any harassment.
@OzgurumBen1 "I mean if they ban the burqa here its gonna create so much trouble, Muslims extremists devastated all of us with the London bombings on 7/7. And now they'll actually have a reason to attack"
So we should do what they want because they'll kill us otherwise?
@niknik2203 Supporting the ban on burqa is also cowardly - you want to impose your own ideologies on a group that you're scared off because you think they will invade and rule your country? It will not solve any problems - only provoke more conflict. The best solution is to denounce those who bring hatred - without placing people who just happen to be from the same race/religion into the same category. Just as it would be unfair to call all British or Americans Muslim haters.
@OzgurumBen1 I didn't say that i support a universal ban. In my other comment on here, i said that wherever a non-muslim is required to show their face by law, a muslim woman must also be required to show her face by law.
That's not "imposing our ideologies." That's -equality- under the law.
Granting muslim women execptions to the law simply because they are muslim is inequality. It discriminates againts all non-muslims who are not granted such exceptions. One law for all.
@niknik2203 What do u mean"discriminates against non-muslims?Its like saying"Oh that's not fair,so im gonna cover my face with my hands and refuse to let u see me!".U r making it sound like Muslims have special privilages!A Muslim woman can be privately checked by a female security member ifshowing their face violates their laws of religion.U're understanding of equality is twisted. What r u gonna complain about next? How lifts designed for wheelchair users discriminates against the non-disabled??
@OzgurumBen1 Muslims DO have secial privilages. Why can a burka wearing Muslim woman walk into a bank unquestioned, but a person wearing a motorcyle helmet cannot?
Also, it's impractical that it has to be a female checking identity. What if a male police officer pulls up a muslim woman and asks her to reveal her face for identity reasons but she refuses because he's not a women. There can't ALWAYS be a women on sight to do this. Is he just supposed to let her go?
@niknik2203 What are you saying man?its a totally different thing wearing a helmet and a burka. One is safety the other is religion.Where have you seen a biker with their helmet on inside? In your twisted mind?Where there are numerous bikers with an unshakeable belief that they MUST keep their helmets on at all times, this is something that they learnt while growing up?
@niknik2203 As for the event that a Muslim woman be pulled up and asked for identity I doubt the male police officer would forcefully rip off her burka (although YOU would really like that wouldnt you?).Should she persist in the name of her religion, he can easily take her to the police station to investigate her privately and even in the unlikely chance that there would be no female investigators around,I'm pretty sure they could investigate her identity without being total intolerant bastards.
OH FOR FUCKS SAKE people we have greater problems such as economy/ job losses in the UK than Muslim women wearing a burka!!Last time I have checked violence in Britain was caused by teenage looters who didn't resort to wearing a burka to conceal their crimes so GET OVER YOURSELVES!!!Rather than questioning the rights of a woman in a democratic country to wear whatever the fuck she wants, learn to question our GOVERNMENT and COPERATE COMPANIES who put us in this economic mess!!
@OzgurumBen1 I agree. There are more pressing issues. But why are you watching a video about BANNING THE BURKA then? If you find it so insignificant an issue, why are you even commenting on this issue in the first place?
As i said, a muslim woman can wear "whatever the fuck she wants" in any situation where i can wear whatever the fuck i want. That's all.
You're getting so emotional because you can't refute what i'm saying.
@niknik2203 Oh im sorry I thought I had to consult with you before watching videos of my choice on the internet!I should have guessed that you would be so offended when I exercised the same rights of every citizen in this country to freely express my opinions. After all it is not okay to criticize someones view in order to point out their ignorant outlook on life and you should always expect to be questioned about your personal choices by someone who is so passionately against pro-choice views.
@niknik2203 And wear whatever the fuck you want man. Go for it! Or you could try experimenting you know, dressing up as a Muslim woman who is covered head to toe to a blonde bombshell (no pun intended) on rollerblades wearing a mini-skirt. That should broaden your horizons a litlle bit!
@OzgurumBen1 You're missing the point. I CAN'T wear whatever i want, where ever i want because there are certain identification laws. In certain circumstances, i must reveal my identity, such as walking into a bank, or talking to a policeman. But for Muslim women, there are certain exceptions granted to them to appease religious beliefs, She can refuse to show her face to a police officer, whereas i can't, for example.
If you can't understand this, there's no point arguing with you.
@niknik2203 Yes that's because YOU ARE NOT A MUSLIM WOMAN. This country was founded on democracy to protect it's citizens' rights and freedom to exercise their beliefs. Banning the burka would go against everything this country stands for such as respect for the other. While it might mean that a potential criminal can get away with it by dressing in burka, but frankly that bothers me less than our Conservative government robbing from the poor to benefit the rich. But let's blame Muslims anyway..
@OzgurumBen1 I didn't say i wanted to ban the burka!! For goodness sake, re-read my 2nd comment to you. I said that whilst i don't support a universal ban, anywhere a non-muslim must show their face for identity reasons, a muslim women must also do so. Can you read?
You know, granting special rights/priveliges to one religious group because of religious sensitivity ALSO goes against what America stands for. The state does not grant privelige to one religion/group over the other.......
@OzgurumBen1 ......But i see you're not so outraged over that are you?
"but frankly that bothers me less than our Conservative government robbing from the poor to benefit the rich. But let's blame Muslims anyway.."
That is a conversation for another video. Why are you bringing it up here? Also it has nothing to do with Muslims, so why would i "blame muslims anyway" for that?
Go make those comments to someone else on another video. I'm not debating that,
@niknik2203 Its because the right-wing media/government makes a whole deal out of Muslim people in this country to divert your attention from the economical/political shit they put us in that the whole topic started anyway. Before 9/11, 7/7 e.t.c. there was no security problem with Muslims. Now they're extra tight security procedures which believe it or not are targeted against the women u so want to strip their identity of.(ctnd')
@niknik2203 such laws are a result of Islamophobia and moral panic. Why then don't we have laws against Christian girls wearing a cross in schools where jewellery isn't allowed? And before you say anything about security again, what about young people putting their hoods up in public areas?Wont that raise questions too, say in a shopping mall or who would be more vulnerable walking on the streets at dark? A Muslim woman wearing burka or a group of teens with balaclavas on their faces?
@OzgurumBen1 "Why then don't we have laws against Christian girls wearing a cross in schools where jewellery isn't allowed?"
AGAIN you're deviating from the TOPIC. Crosses have NOTHING to do with identity and security. However i don't support the wearing of crosses in public schools either. OR hijabs.
"its obvious what a narrow minded idiot you are"
I love when people like you start resorting to petty insults. Just shows you have no argument to back you up.
@niknik2203 You argue that you want equality but your arguments are contradictory! How can equality be gained by giving rights to people by taking it away from others? such laws will only alienate the citizens against society. This "them" and "us" approach is useless. We are all British no matter what race/religion we are and it seems that this Pat Condell guy, while has strong arguments to back up his case is pretty much against everyone who isn't a white English Conservative male.
@OzgurumBen1 My arguments are not contradictory. I simply say that if i must reveal my face by law in certain circumstances, a muslim woman must also reveal her face by law under those same circumstances. Again, it's equality under the law. This doesn't mean the burka has to be totally banned though.
But please do explain how i am contradicting myself.
PS. Pat Condell is not a social conservative by far. He has always been a liberal. You obviously havn't watched many of his videos.
@niknik2203 Im not even going to argue with you on this further coz its obvious what a narrow minded idiot you are. This is my last comment. Get this into your thick mind ok? YOU ARE NOT A MUSLIM WOMAN!! so how can you even bring the fact that you have to reveal your face by law? You dont cover your face anyway!
You are contradicting yourself because you want equality well how can you have equality if you dont respect other people's rights to have equality in the first place?
@OzgurumBen1 "YOU ARE NOT A MUSLIM WOMAN!! so how can you even bring the fact that you have to reveal your face by law? You dont cover your face anyway!"
*sigh* again you fail to understand. WHAT IF I WANTED TO COVER MY FACE? What if i wanted to walk into a bank wearing a helmet or other facial covering because i didn't want anyone to see me huh?
I couldn't do that could I? Why? Because of THE LAW, which muslim women are EXEMPT from just because they're muslims. THAT'S the inequality....
@OzgurumBen1 "And before you say anything about security again, what about young people putting their hoods up in public areas?"
Where i live they have stopped allowing youngsters to wear their hoods up in shopping centres and gas stations etc because the security cameras can't see them and IDENTIFY them. No such thing has been done for women wearing burkas though. She doesn't need to show her face so the camera can see her does she? Why? Beacuse we give special exceptions to Muslims.
I can see what your saying but you are confused. The burka stands for the oppression of women so banning the burka means more freedom. The burka is not a symbol of western democracy or traditional within any individual western country and it seems the outright agenda of neo-liberalism is to appease all wishes even if those wishes impose upon other peoples freedom. Think about what your saying here if you truly believe in freedom.
pat's the reason people keep getting terrorist attacked. u obviously get 'it' more than he. he's just an old man who always has to say his opinion on everything. why? i dont know
@Rachulie "pat's the reason people keep getting terrorist attacked"
What a disgusting statement. Blaming Pat Condell or people who agree with Pat for terrorist attacks is a revolting thing to say. Way to be an Islamic terrorist apologist you ignorant turd.
Go say such a statement to the family of victims who have been murdered by Muslim extremists. I don't think they would be impressed.
If you want to prevent an individual from being coerced into using free-will to oppress themselves. You should remove the coercions, not their free-will to choose.
For instance we could possibly ban facial cosmetics as oppressing women to conform to certain ideals of beauty. In the process covering their face. (However, the use of cosmetics still retains an identity and acts more to enhance than disguise). Nevertheless there are coercions against women to wear it, again we should not ban make-up, because that would opress people who want to wear it of their own free-will not from coercion. In order to protect the women who are, you need to remove coercion
I think this guy raises an important issue. Should women have the right or freedom to chose being opressed. For instance, we know prostitution to be a degrading and oppressive force on women, just as we know the burqa to be so. If entering a bank, it is not your property, safety is important, therefore you should abide by those rules. However, in the general public we cannot ban burqas, as we should not ban prostitution. We should work towards removing the coercions that create the problem.
I live in england, I have many muslim friends. And I am against burqa. I disagree with many things Condell say, but some things he say about freedom of speech and the catholic church, I agree with. The burqa is a way to degrade women, and make them believe they are nothing. My pakistani friends agree with me, my somali friends agree with me. This sort of treatment of women is UNACCEPTABLE. No matter if they can choose to wear it or not.
The difference is that women are forced to wear the burqua by the oppresive government that they left to come to the west. Its their radical husbands and their backward community that enforces the idea in their head. Do you honestly think that if a female was raised without having to wear this stupid outfit that they would wear it by choice.... Gimme a break
@gothatfunk No, but pantyhose are meant to be worn on the legs. If they're on the head, you know somebody's up to no good. Ski masks are meant to be worn while skiing or extreme cold weather. Wearing one in a city during non-cold weather near a potential robbery target, again, suspicious activity.
@gothatfunk True, wearing gas masks and fetish medical masks partially hides the face, but isn't uncommon a goth/ fetish club or party and is usually worn for that event only. Plus, it only partially obscures the face. The rest of the head, hair, skin and flesh tones, tattoos and/or scars is only hidden if its under the mask or clothes. But if you had to describe a particular person, you can still see their clothes.
@gothatfunk And if a goth or cybergoth ever robbed somebody, it'd be REAL easy to pick them out of an everyday crowd. The burka robber who hit Sovereign Bank a few days ago used a disguise that's basically worn, everyday, everywhere. Unless you can tell its a man under the burka, and I don't see how you can, they don't look suspicious and covers EVERY piece of clothing and identifying features, making suspect description or facial identity near impossible.
@gothatfunk Also, you can't tell if they got big guns or suicide bomb vests under those things; it's harder to conceal big guns (but can hide small guns) under everyday clothes, but can't hide wearing a suicide bomb vest.
@gothatfunk Wear one, nobody can ID you, go around town with a gun, rob somebody, make a getaway and easily be able to hide in a large crowd with people still unsuspecting of what you done. If the cops are looking for a female Muslim robber, hide somewhere and shed the disguise, and blammo, American male going about his business. Now imagine a terrorist doing the same thing, but he leaves bombs one target after another, wherever he wants to kill lots of people.
@gothatfunk You saw Bin Laden's face. What if you don't see THIS guy's face?? He can kill and keep killing until he is shot dead at one of his targets. The ONLY exception, and that is extremely rare, for someone to hide their entire face is the woman who was nearly mauled to death by a monkey.
@gothatfunk The only time I can remember terrorists carrying big AK47s and NOT wear the burka was the 1972 Munich Olympic massacre. But then again, walking into an Olympic village wearing casual clothes, carrying gym bags doesn't look suspicious. The terrorists wore disguises because they wanted to survive the terror attack. But you can still see part of their faces.
@gothatfunk The 9/11 attackers dressed like everyday people and didn't disguise their faces because they needed to look as non-suspicious as possible. Besides, they knew they were going to die, so why conceal their faces? But a terrorist who needs to survive one attack so he can do another needs a disguise. But if he don't have a perfect disguise, the burka, he'll have a hard time coming up with one that doesn't at least reveal something about him.
@gothatfunk But you do see the problem with having a type of clothing that hides your face. If you walk into a bank wearing a ski-mask I bet you'd be stopped by the guard, how can the guard know if the one clothed in a burka is not a robber? Also what about drivers license? How can the cop know who is driving the car if he is not allowed to look at the persons face? If this was a religious law in Islam, why does not all the Muslim women of this world wear the burka?
@gothatfunk "bank robbers used to wear pantyhose over their heads, but we didn't ban them" but we did. you can't wear pantyhose over your head on your way into a bank. you will immediately have an officer escort you outside, if not arrest you. you can't take a plane with a clan hood on, and have on your I.D a photo of you in your clan hood, etc. now, for the record, i don't believe in banning burkas. BUT for things where I.D is necessary, they'll have to show their face, period.
@gothatfunk Because pantyhose do not serve the specific purpase of covering their face, but a burka does. Also, if someone went into a bank wearing pantyhose, a helmet etc, they could be asked to remove it. You make the same request of a woman in a burka and you're facing a religious discrimination lawsuit.
Best thing is to ban it in places where non-muslims are required to show their faces. No exceptions for muslim women just because their muslim.
I don't think the complaint of the burka is like that of ear piercings... I know a young girl who thinks she has to wear this or Muslim men will rape her. I'm sad when I hear you say this because rather than encouraging women to have courage and be strong because men support them you go out of your way to defend rights we already have. Unfortunately these kind of arguments drive women into obscurity and encourage them to cling to concepts of protection. :(
would you guys like to wear a burqa? they are sweltering hot in the summer. can you guys tolerate the sweltering heat under a burqa. wearing a burqa covers the face so when someone who is wearing a burqa commits a crime, the authorities will have an impossible time catching the criminal. burqa's dont make any sense at all, unless you are an undercover cop and even then wear it only at work.
By your logic people could be permitted to wear the swastika anywhere they want. People aren't allowed to be nude in public, say whatever they want, do whatever they want. Why should the Burka be exempt from these rules. U seem to be one of those misguided people that overemphasise freedom and only see it from only the individuals perspective. What about society's right to feel safe and comfortable? Freedom is not an absolute and nor should it be.
@Paulyb1010 Extremely good point. Although dressing up like Hitler or walking into a bank wearing a ski mask isn't banned by law, it's practicaly banned by society. Because doing so, they'll either think you're a bank robber and call the police or publicly humiliate you for adoring Hitler (even if you hate Hitler). Even gays, lesbians, and transsexuals get beat up in public for dressing in "gay fashion".
@Paulyb1010 Wearing a Star of David in public will probably piss off Jews because they think you love the Holocaust (even when you despise the Holocaust.) Dressing as a goth, people think you're a member of the Trenchcoat Mafia and is about to shoot up a school. Dress too casual, you're ultra conservative; dress too skimpy, you're a slut. Dress as a gangster or a thug drug dealer, the cops surveil you more. Dress as a cop, EMT, or firefighter, everyone runs to you for help.
@Paulyb1010 Dress as a doctor, you're smart; dress as a hoodie, you're dumb. Wear a suit, you're rich; wear t-shirt and jeans, you're poor. A lot of presumptions according to clothes and fashion, but more so when the fashion is tied to a religion or ideology that murders millions or degrades lots of women.
I live in England where historically we have been able to see the faces of men, women and children at all times, not withstanding the occasional motor cycle rider.
With the ever present threat of terrorist activity, the ability to see someone's face is becoming a necessity and perhaps even a right.
We glean a lot of information about someone's motives and intent by their facial expressions. The Burka disables my ability to do this, and therefore infringes my human rights.
1- there are safety issues with not being able to identify someone in a burka. 2- Women are intimidated into wearing burkas through threat of feeling immoral with punishment of possible honor killings. The government should not try to prevent people from wearing what they want, but they should try to prevent women from being intimidated and bullied by men who are insecure of their own sexuality.
I think this video is great and your opinion is pretty much in harmony with my own, however I think (for example) shop keepers should be able to ask women who wear the Burqa to remove the headgear because it is their shop and covering your face can be suspicious as that person could steal without getting caught.
@thisnamehasntbeentuk why? because he's wrong? because he pretty much nailed it, i think your're just one of Pat Condell's lapdogs, blindly believing in anything he says without questioning if his claims are false or true,
it's pretty ironic of you calling "gothatfunk" an idiot, this guy should teach you some things about life you pathetic piece of shit
Women like to be women ban the burka! We like to be attractive to the Opposite Sex allow them that instead of repression. They are beaten and killed if they don't! The Taliban calls Western women whores because we like to be free to be who we are! You are a nice looking man I really don't think you would want to anger women! Please rethink Pat is Right 100%! You seem sweet and smart but you are wrong about this!
Please, for you, I would argue a burka would be a good thing. Burka's prevent identification of a person, Stars of David DO NOT prevent identification of anyone. WHAT A RIDICULOUS FALSE STUPID ANALOGY!
I'm sorry to be a pest mate, but one more hypothetical you might think about. Imagine wearing a balaclava for a day, two or even a week.... Not in places of an obvious security threat, just in public & local neighbourhoods (day & night). What do you think the public response would be & if confronted what would be yours? Then imagine that the garment had deep sentimental value.. Are your rights being compromised? I's a hard issue but you can't dodge the issue. Cheers mate!! Peace! x
Not quite sure how "jordangaiger" agreed with my QUESTION??? But moving on...(slightly baffled)... Just one more point (that might trigger some synapses) concerning the utterly deplorable nature of a SMALL group of Muslim protestors who chanted "British Soldiers Burn In Hell!" at a Remembrance Day ceremony whilst burning poppies some months back. Should that form of "protest" be expelled or were they entitled to thier "freedom of speech"? Where do you draw the line?
Your argument is full of loopholes. You're saying that government should not "dictate what we wear". So you're saying that freedom means that we are forced by a two-sided political correctness to accept EVERYTHING that comes our way. Even the ideologies & political movements that seek to destroy us? Only because "that's their right"?? That's exactly what the government should NOT do. We don't have to accept everything and everyone has a right to say no.
Wanna know why your the one who is wrong because you are not a woman! Vitamin D is givin to us by sunlight it guards against cancer if you are covered completely you can't get it. It's the best delivery for Vitamin D It's against Nature in every sense of the word!
@ceasexfire10x9x8 The burqa is not what those women want to wear it's imposed on them. The head dress is a choice. You chose your piercings those women don't want to wear that darth vader costume. They are beaten and killed if they don't! Do you believe in Freedom for all humans-not just men? Why can't you fight for women?
@Marie58941 Really? They're beaten and killed for it? Cause my best friend is Muslim and she wears it by choice. Also, who are you to decide who gets to wear what? I chose my piercings, Maggie chose her burkha. Also, darth vader costume? Are you serious? Or are you just repeating what some other ignorant asshole has already said?
Your ear piercings arent threatening western civilization. The burqa has no place in western society. They are using our laws of freedom against us. These woman wear it to show their contempt for western society and its a great big fabric middle finger in our face. Wearing an Islamic medieval tent is fine if you live in an Islamic state. It has no place in our society, period.
In theory, I'd be against a government telling me what to wear - but they already do.
Next time you go to the bank - go naked and see what happens.
Although there may only be a small minority who would want to cover their face, you have to think what would happen if the majority decided to do it. Clearly this would be untenable and devisive.
What's good for one must be good for all.
No need to ban an item of clothing - just ban the covering of the face in public.
You are spot on!! I couldn't have said better than you. I think they have some agenda as they have some very ridiculous arguments to stand for and it is resulting in unfair violence against Muslim women who choose to wear burqa. I know many who were murdered for that. What is the justification of such hate mongering? It is beyond me an educated person living in the liberal West has views like that. Such views are expected in the third world. Too bad humanity isn't that educated afterall.
i think you missed the point, these women have been told ,then forced, then brainwashed for generations to cover their beautiful faces ,which is unhealthy and has nothing to do with modesty.see how you like wearing one of those things on your face in the hot weather.Maybe you like sweating and not being able to catch a breath of air. Fuck that so called religion really is sadistic and cruel.........I don,t think .... I know your beliefs are insane
I'm not for telling people what they can and cannot wear however. people who say they're oppressive and should be banned is in itself hypocrisy!... (you either believe in freedom or not!) people should be able to wear what they want in situations where it doesn't contradict the established laws.... (unless they can find ways in which they can get around these restrictions) does this make sense?!
it depends on the restrictions they can create doesn't it?... I mean if you get on the bus and show your pass to the driver they won't be able to tell if the image is you or not - how do you get round that one?... or if you're teaching small kids whilst wearing one and they can't see your facial expressions or mouth movements (all integral parts of communication... same as body language ...in my opinion especially when dealing with little kids who need that xtra "connection"
I have mixed feelings on the issue, but in the end it settles with this:
France belongs to the french, is it the right of the French to defend their culture, even at the cost of absolute freedom. Unlike America, they never pledged themselves to being a "nation of immigrants", and I can see why they feel apprehension to the rising, and violently aggressive, Islamists.
Well many women are forced into wearing it by Islamic men. You make some good points here nevertheless, however pretty much all of them could work for me being able to wear a balaclava in a bank or shop.
In a country such as France with Catholic trappings everywhere, what is this rubbish about 'secularist principles'? Similar nonsense in Quebec, Canada.
Quit telling women what to wear. I'd hate to wear a burqa, but even more detest some bloody state ruled by men telling me not to.
U agree with pat but ur not hateful or distespectul. Thank u for that. I believe u agree with pat because u don't know enough about hijab but you see that banning it is oppression in another form. The face covering is not needed. They wear it as added precaution. Just wanted to thank u for the respect. Bless u
I was expecting some bullshit to come out of this guy but I agree with what he's saying. Oh and pat, please just delete your YouTube even better just stop using the Internet
The important distinction between wearing what you want and wearing the burka is the burka covers your face.If worn in communities where it is not custom it is an aggressive item. This is in the same context as a criminal covering their face with a balaclava . It creates and controls an imbalance in human interaction -thats why people feel threatened by it. People have a right not feel threatened by others in a civilised society. Wear what you want but don't wear a mask unless you are deformed
theres no valid points pat makes according to this "view" on the burka...his points are considered valid,....yet muslim women who choose this way to practice and disregarded as having no valid points to make. this society is becoming sooo hatefull...and everyone is soo embeded into what the media projects and GOV't...its pupets like pat who are making the GOV'T soo proud...where are all the critical thinkers gone these days...i have no say your points on "freedom" of choice were respected.
Naive. By this guy's rules I've got the right to walk into a bank or petrol station wearing my motorcycle helmet, full facial balaclava, or a hoodie. Would I really get away with that? By your rules I should be allowed to wear whatever I want in public. Or is this just some PC attitude that says that they should be allowed to do whatever THEY want? And terrorists have been known to wear the burka as a way of evading the law. When will they go one step further and start hiding bombs under them?
This guy has obviously never been on an airplane leaving the middle east and seen the women queing for the toilet to get rid of the Burka and change into western style clothes. The Burka is not about freedom of choice its about repression of choice.. Wake up man!
@jankendorf Actually, there's nothing in Islamic religion that says you have to wear the burka. It's just the mad Mullahs and other fanatics who say that. In other words the burka is a statement of radical Islam, NOTHING more. It's on a par with a Western person dressing up in either an SS uniform or a KKK outfit and walking down the highstreet. Again, by this guy's rules I should be allowed to dress as a Nazi or KKK and walk down the street. After all, it is a free society, isn't it?
from viewing most of this guys videos i would say that he portrays himself as a first class c*nt but he is spot on.my only defense about the burqa is that how often do you hear about crimes committed by someone in a burqa ? hardly ever.and how often do you hear about a woman in a burqa that has been raped..never.because they are no dressing like whores like most women do these days but the truth is it is a health and safety issue and it is quite intimidating to say the least..DO AS THE ROMANS DO
@positiveblackman1 If you bother to read opposition news reports from Middle eastern countries will will find that rape is a lot more common place than in the west, and as a bonus to womens rights in these countries the raped women is blamed and is quite often senenced to death (By stoning?).

Rainfish14 4 months ago
Maybe we have a different idea of sexism. Feminism is a womens choice, now we can get into a debate about our culture and the damage it does to women but we are a huge step ahead of the middle east because here women's bodies aren't feared or hated. Most religions fear and hate women's bodies and seek to control them. Women have the power, they have the power to choose to do what will benefit themselves or destroy themselves. The Middle east is ten times worse off.
Rainfish14 4 months ago
Yes I feel horrible...Im sure they are beautiful under their bee keepers suit. I don't know about England...But in america we don't want your self esteem issues here...Go back to from where you came...you don't see us in your home land trying to change your customs.
Rainfish14 5 months ago
@Rainfish14 I think u should be ashamed for this comment.Firstly ur bigotry is evident when you call a burqa "beekeeper suit".Have some respect.I dont agree with the ideology either, but that's no excuse for such an ignorant, insulting description. (cntd)
OzgurumBen1 4 months ago
@Rainfish14 U claim to be so against sexism I suggest you consider how current society also dehumanizes women through the glorification of pornography, sexual exploitation, human trafficking e.t.c. look at popular culture and media that represents women as a sex object, how promiscuity is encouraged by society. How, like women who cover-up, women who dress provocatively are also victims of a patriarchal indoctrination that conditions a woman's body to serve the male gaze.

Although I agree that many or the muslim women who wear this are actually doing us a favor...
gregpettijohn 6 months ago
@gregpettijohn Go to Edgeware street and you'll see a lot of women who are covered up but are physically more beautiful than some non-religious people - Im not saying covered up women are more beautiful than girls who wear short skirts, nor am I saying its the fact that they are covering up makes them more beautiful. I want to suggest that your view "many of the muslim women who wear this are actually doing us a favor" is ignorant since beauty depends on the person - not what they wear!

OzgurumBen1 6 months ago
@OzgurumBen1 "I mean if they ban the burqa here its gonna create so much trouble, Muslims extremists devastated all of us with the London bombings on 7/7. And now they'll actually have a reason to attack"
So we should do what they want because they'll kill us otherwise?
What a cowardly statement.
niknik2203 6 months ago
@niknik2203 Supporting the ban on burqa is also cowardly - you want to impose your own ideologies on a group that you're scared off because you think they will invade and rule your country? It will not solve any problems - only provoke more conflict. The best solution is to denounce those who bring hatred - without placing people who just happen to be from the same race/religion into the same category. Just as it would be unfair to call all British or Americans Muslim haters.
OzgurumBen1 6 months ago
@OzgurumBen1 I didn't say that i support a universal ban. In my other comment on here, i said that wherever a non-muslim is required to show their face by law, a muslim woman must also be required to show her face by law.
That's not "imposing our ideologies." That's -equality- under the law.
Granting muslim women execptions to the law simply because they are muslim is inequality. It discriminates againts all non-muslims who are not granted such exceptions. One law for all.
niknik2203 6 months ago
@niknik2203 What do u mean"discriminates against non-muslims?Its like saying"Oh that's not fair,so im gonna cover my face with my hands and refuse to let u see me!".U r making it sound like Muslims have special privilages!A Muslim woman can be privately checked by a female security member ifshowing their face violates their laws of religion.U're understanding of equality is twisted. What r u gonna complain about next? How lifts designed for wheelchair users discriminates against the non-disabled??
OzgurumBen1 4 months ago
@OzgurumBen1 Muslims DO have secial privilages. Why can a burka wearing Muslim woman walk into a bank unquestioned, but a person wearing a motorcyle helmet cannot?
Also, it's impractical that it has to be a female checking identity. What if a male police officer pulls up a muslim woman and asks her to reveal her face for identity reasons but she refuses because he's not a women. There can't ALWAYS be a women on sight to do this. Is he just supposed to let her go?
niknik2203 4 months ago
@niknik2203 What are you saying man?its a totally different thing wearing a helmet and a burka. One is safety the other is religion.Where have you seen a biker with their helmet on inside? In your twisted mind?Where there are numerous bikers with an unshakeable belief that they MUST keep their helmets on at all times, this is something that they learnt while growing up?
OzgurumBen1 4 months ago
@niknik2203 As for the event that a Muslim woman be pulled up and asked for identity I doubt the male police officer would forcefully rip off her burka (although YOU would really like that wouldnt you?).Should she persist in the name of her religion, he can easily take her to the police station to investigate her privately and even in the unlikely chance that there would be no female investigators around,I'm pretty sure they could investigate her identity without being total intolerant bastards.
OzgurumBen1 4 months ago
OH FOR FUCKS SAKE people we have greater problems such as economy/ job losses in the UK than Muslim women wearing a burka!!Last time I have checked violence in Britain was caused by teenage looters who didn't resort to wearing a burka to conceal their crimes so GET OVER YOURSELVES!!!Rather than questioning the rights of a woman in a democratic country to wear whatever the fuck she wants, learn to question our GOVERNMENT and COPERATE COMPANIES who put us in this economic mess!!
OzgurumBen1 4 months ago
@OzgurumBen1 I agree. There are more pressing issues. But why are you watching a video about BANNING THE BURKA then? If you find it so insignificant an issue, why are you even commenting on this issue in the first place?
As i said, a muslim woman can wear "whatever the fuck she wants" in any situation where i can wear whatever the fuck i want. That's all.
You're getting so emotional because you can't refute what i'm saying.
niknik2203 4 months ago
@niknik2203 Oh im sorry I thought I had to consult with you before watching videos of my choice on the internet!I should have guessed that you would be so offended when I exercised the same rights of every citizen in this country to freely express my opinions. After all it is not okay to criticize someones view in order to point out their ignorant outlook on life and you should always expect to be questioned about your personal choices by someone who is so passionately against pro-choice views.
OzgurumBen1 4 months ago
@niknik2203 And wear whatever the fuck you want man. Go for it! Or you could try experimenting you know, dressing up as a Muslim woman who is covered head to toe to a blonde bombshell (no pun intended) on rollerblades wearing a mini-skirt. That should broaden your horizons a litlle bit!
OzgurumBen1 4 months ago
@OzgurumBen1 You're missing the point. I CAN'T wear whatever i want, where ever i want because there are certain identification laws. In certain circumstances, i must reveal my identity, such as walking into a bank, or talking to a policeman. But for Muslim women, there are certain exceptions granted to them to appease religious beliefs, She can refuse to show her face to a police officer, whereas i can't, for example.
If you can't understand this, there's no point arguing with you.
niknik2203 4 months ago
@niknik2203 Yes that's because YOU ARE NOT A MUSLIM WOMAN. This country was founded on democracy to protect it's citizens' rights and freedom to exercise their beliefs. Banning the burka would go against everything this country stands for such as respect for the other. While it might mean that a potential criminal can get away with it by dressing in burka, but frankly that bothers me less than our Conservative government robbing from the poor to benefit the rich. But let's blame Muslims anyway..
OzgurumBen1 4 months ago
@OzgurumBen1 I didn't say i wanted to ban the burka!! For goodness sake, re-read my 2nd comment to you. I said that whilst i don't support a universal ban, anywhere a non-muslim must show their face for identity reasons, a muslim women must also do so. Can you read?
You know, granting special rights/priveliges to one religious group because of religious sensitivity ALSO goes against what America stands for. The state does not grant privelige to one religion/group over the other.......
niknik2203 4 months ago
@OzgurumBen1 ......But i see you're not so outraged over that are you?
"but frankly that bothers me less than our Conservative government robbing from the poor to benefit the rich. But let's blame Muslims anyway.."
That is a conversation for another video. Why are you bringing it up here? Also it has nothing to do with Muslims, so why would i "blame muslims anyway" for that?
Go make those comments to someone else on another video. I'm not debating that,
niknik2203 4 months ago
@niknik2203 Its because the right-wing media/government makes a whole deal out of Muslim people in this country to divert your attention from the economical/political shit they put us in that the whole topic started anyway. Before 9/11, 7/7 e.t.c. there was no security problem with Muslims. Now they're extra tight security procedures which believe it or not are targeted against the women u so want to strip their identity of.(ctnd')
OzgurumBen1 4 months ago
@niknik2203 such laws are a result of Islamophobia and moral panic. Why then don't we have laws against Christian girls wearing a cross in schools where jewellery isn't allowed? And before you say anything about security again, what about young people putting their hoods up in public areas?Wont that raise questions too, say in a shopping mall or who would be more vulnerable walking on the streets at dark? A Muslim woman wearing burka or a group of teens with balaclavas on their faces?
OzgurumBen1 4 months ago
@OzgurumBen1 "Why then don't we have laws against Christian girls wearing a cross in schools where jewellery isn't allowed?"
AGAIN you're deviating from the TOPIC. Crosses have NOTHING to do with identity and security. However i don't support the wearing of crosses in public schools either. OR hijabs.
"its obvious what a narrow minded idiot you are"
I love when people like you start resorting to petty insults. Just shows you have no argument to back you up.
niknik2203 4 months ago
@niknik2203 You argue that you want equality but your arguments are contradictory! How can equality be gained by giving rights to people by taking it away from others? such laws will only alienate the citizens against society. This "them" and "us" approach is useless. We are all British no matter what race/religion we are and it seems that this Pat Condell guy, while has strong arguments to back up his case is pretty much against everyone who isn't a white English Conservative male.
OzgurumBen1 4 months ago
@OzgurumBen1 My arguments are not contradictory. I simply say that if i must reveal my face by law in certain circumstances, a muslim woman must also reveal her face by law under those same circumstances. Again, it's equality under the law. This doesn't mean the burka has to be totally banned though.
But please do explain how i am contradicting myself.
PS. Pat Condell is not a social conservative by far. He has always been a liberal. You obviously havn't watched many of his videos.
niknik2203 4 months ago
@niknik2203 Im not even going to argue with you on this further coz its obvious what a narrow minded idiot you are. This is my last comment. Get this into your thick mind ok? YOU ARE NOT A MUSLIM WOMAN!! so how can you even bring the fact that you have to reveal your face by law? You dont cover your face anyway!
You are contradicting yourself because you want equality well how can you have equality if you dont respect other people's rights to have equality in the first place?
OzgurumBen1 4 months ago
@OzgurumBen1 "YOU ARE NOT A MUSLIM WOMAN!! so how can you even bring the fact that you have to reveal your face by law? You dont cover your face anyway!"
*sigh* again you fail to understand. WHAT IF I WANTED TO COVER MY FACE? What if i wanted to walk into a bank wearing a helmet or other facial covering because i didn't want anyone to see me huh?
I couldn't do that could I? Why? Because of THE LAW, which muslim women are EXEMPT from just because they're muslims. THAT'S the inequality....
niknik2203 4 months ago
@OzgurumBen1 "And before you say anything about security again, what about young people putting their hoods up in public areas?"
Where i live they have stopped allowing youngsters to wear their hoods up in shopping centres and gas stations etc because the security cameras can't see them and IDENTIFY them. No such thing has been done for women wearing burkas though. She doesn't need to show her face so the camera can see her does she? Why? Beacuse we give special exceptions to Muslims.
niknik2203 4 months ago
I can see what your saying but you are confused. The burka stands for the oppression of women so banning the burka means more freedom. The burka is not a symbol of western democracy or traditional within any individual western country and it seems the outright agenda of neo-liberalism is to appease all wishes even if those wishes impose upon other peoples freedom. Think about what your saying here if you truly believe in freedom.

If you want to prevent an individual from being coerced into using free-will to oppress themselves. You should remove the coercions, not their free-will to choose.
Karestasse 7 months ago
For instance we could possibly ban facial cosmetics as oppressing women to conform to certain ideals of beauty. In the process covering their face. (However, the use of cosmetics still retains an identity and acts more to enhance than disguise). Nevertheless there are coercions against women to wear it, again we should not ban make-up, because that would opress people who want to wear it of their own free-will not from coercion. In order to protect the women who are, you need to remove coercion
Karestasse 7 months ago
I think this guy raises an important issue. Should women have the right or freedom to chose being opressed. For instance, we know prostitution to be a degrading and oppressive force on women, just as we know the burqa to be so. If entering a bank, it is not your property, safety is important, therefore you should abide by those rules. However, in the general public we cannot ban burqas, as we should not ban prostitution. We should work towards removing the coercions that create the problem.
Karestasse 7 months ago
I live in england, I have many muslim friends. And I am against burqa. I disagree with many things Condell say, but some things he say about freedom of speech and the catholic church, I agree with. The burqa is a way to degrade women, and make them believe they are nothing. My pakistani friends agree with me, my somali friends agree with me. This sort of treatment of women is UNACCEPTABLE. No matter if they can choose to wear it or not.

There was a bank robbery in New Jersey, Sovereign Bank got hit. Guess what the robber wore? Yes, a stupid burka and a gown.

@betatalk357 bank robbers used to wear pantyhose over their heads, but we didn't ban them.
gothatfunk 7 months ago
@gothatfunk No, but pantyhose are meant to be worn on the legs. If they're on the head, you know somebody's up to no good. Ski masks are meant to be worn while skiing or extreme cold weather. Wearing one in a city during non-cold weather near a potential robbery target, again, suspicious activity.
betatalk357 7 months ago
@gothatfunk True, wearing gas masks and fetish medical masks partially hides the face, but isn't uncommon a goth/ fetish club or party and is usually worn for that event only. Plus, it only partially obscures the face. The rest of the head, hair, skin and flesh tones, tattoos and/or scars is only hidden if its under the mask or clothes. But if you had to describe a particular person, you can still see their clothes.
betatalk357 7 months ago
@gothatfunk And if a goth or cybergoth ever robbed somebody, it'd be REAL easy to pick them out of an everyday crowd. The burka robber who hit Sovereign Bank a few days ago used a disguise that's basically worn, everyday, everywhere. Unless you can tell its a man under the burka, and I don't see how you can, they don't look suspicious and covers EVERY piece of clothing and identifying features, making suspect description or facial identity near impossible.
betatalk357 7 months ago
@gothatfunk Also, you can't tell if they got big guns or suicide bomb vests under those things; it's harder to conceal big guns (but can hide small guns) under everyday clothes, but can't hide wearing a suicide bomb vest.
betatalk357 7 months ago
@gothatfunk Wear one, nobody can ID you, go around town with a gun, rob somebody, make a getaway and easily be able to hide in a large crowd with people still unsuspecting of what you done. If the cops are looking for a female Muslim robber, hide somewhere and shed the disguise, and blammo, American male going about his business. Now imagine a terrorist doing the same thing, but he leaves bombs one target after another, wherever he wants to kill lots of people.
betatalk357 7 months ago
@gothatfunk You saw Bin Laden's face. What if you don't see THIS guy's face?? He can kill and keep killing until he is shot dead at one of his targets. The ONLY exception, and that is extremely rare, for someone to hide their entire face is the woman who was nearly mauled to death by a monkey.
betatalk357 7 months ago
@gothatfunk The only time I can remember terrorists carrying big AK47s and NOT wear the burka was the 1972 Munich Olympic massacre. But then again, walking into an Olympic village wearing casual clothes, carrying gym bags doesn't look suspicious. The terrorists wore disguises because they wanted to survive the terror attack. But you can still see part of their faces.
betatalk357 7 months ago
@gothatfunk The 9/11 attackers dressed like everyday people and didn't disguise their faces because they needed to look as non-suspicious as possible. Besides, they knew they were going to die, so why conceal their faces? But a terrorist who needs to survive one attack so he can do another needs a disguise. But if he don't have a perfect disguise, the burka, he'll have a hard time coming up with one that doesn't at least reveal something about him.
betatalk357 7 months ago
@gothatfunk Weight, facial patterns, scars, missing body parts, limp or knee ankle foot arthosis, type of clothes, etc.
betatalk357 7 months ago
@gothatfunk But you do see the problem with having a type of clothing that hides your face. If you walk into a bank wearing a ski-mask I bet you'd be stopped by the guard, how can the guard know if the one clothed in a burka is not a robber? Also what about drivers license? How can the cop know who is driving the car if he is not allowed to look at the persons face? If this was a religious law in Islam, why does not all the Muslim women of this world wear the burka?
OrionVulcan 7 months ago
@gothatfunk "bank robbers used to wear pantyhose over their heads, but we didn't ban them" but we did. you can't wear pantyhose over your head on your way into a bank. you will immediately have an officer escort you outside, if not arrest you. you can't take a plane with a clan hood on, and have on your I.D a photo of you in your clan hood, etc. now, for the record, i don't believe in banning burkas. BUT for things where I.D is necessary, they'll have to show their face, period.
BillKiernan 6 months ago
@gothatfunk Because pantyhose do not serve the specific purpase of covering their face, but a burka does. Also, if someone went into a bank wearing pantyhose, a helmet etc, they could be asked to remove it. You make the same request of a woman in a burka and you're facing a religious discrimination lawsuit.
Best thing is to ban it in places where non-muslims are required to show their faces. No exceptions for muslim women just because their muslim.
niknik2203 6 months ago
@gothatfunk Because people don't go fucking walking around the streets with pantyhose over their heads, idiot.
NicoleNa666 4 months ago

Paulyb1010 8 months ago
@Paulyb1010 Extremely good point. Although dressing up like Hitler or walking into a bank wearing a ski mask isn't banned by law, it's practicaly banned by society. Because doing so, they'll either think you're a bank robber and call the police or publicly humiliate you for adoring Hitler (even if you hate Hitler). Even gays, lesbians, and transsexuals get beat up in public for dressing in "gay fashion".
betatalk357 7 months ago
@Paulyb1010 Wearing a Star of David in public will probably piss off Jews because they think you love the Holocaust (even when you despise the Holocaust.) Dressing as a goth, people think you're a member of the Trenchcoat Mafia and is about to shoot up a school. Dress too casual, you're ultra conservative; dress too skimpy, you're a slut. Dress as a gangster or a thug drug dealer, the cops surveil you more. Dress as a cop, EMT, or firefighter, everyone runs to you for help.
betatalk357 7 months ago

The Burka disables my ability to do this, and therefore infringes my human rights.
pianoplayeruk 8 months ago

Perfectly reassonable imo

You are spot on!! I couldn't have said better than you. I think they have some agenda as they have some very ridiculous arguments to stand for and it is resulting in unfair violence against Muslim women who choose to wear burqa. I know many who were murdered for that. What is the justification of such hate mongering? It is beyond me an educated person living in the liberal West has views like that. Such views are expected in the third world. Too bad humanity isn't that educated afterall.

I'm not for telling people what they can and cannot wear however. people who say they're oppressive and should be banned is in itself hypocrisy!... (you either believe in freedom or not!) people should be able to wear what they want in situations where it doesn't contradict the established laws.... (unless they can find ways in which they can get around these restrictions) does this make sense?!
stephaz1971 9 months ago
@stephaz1971 yeah, i feel every rule has some exceptions, as every freedom has some exceptions.
gothatfunk 9 months ago
it depends on the restrictions they can create doesn't it?...

MrZenziba 10 months ago
The important distinction between wearing what you want and wearing the burka is the burka covers your face.If worn in communities where it is not custom it is an aggressive item. This is in the same context as a criminal covering their face with a balaclava . It creates and controls an imbalance in human interaction -thats why people feel threatened by it. People have a right not feel threatened by others in a civilised society. Wear what you want but don't wear a mask unless you are deformed

When will they go one step further and start hiding bombs under them?

jankendorf 10 months ago
@jankendorf Actually, there's nothing in Islamic religion that says you have to wear the burka. It's just the mad Mullahs and other fanatics who say that. In other words the burka is a statement of radical Islam, NOTHING more. It's on a par with a Western person dressing up in either an SS uniform or a KKK outfit and walking down the highstreet. Again, by this guy's rules I should be allowed to dress as a Nazi or KKK and walk down the street. After all, it is a free society, isn't it?

from viewing most of this guys videos i would say that he portrays himself as a first class c*nt but he is spot on.my only defense about the burqa is that how often do you hear about crimes committed by someone in a burqa ? hardly ever.and how often do you hear about a woman in a burqa that has been raped..never.because they are no dressing like whores like most women do these days but the truth is it is a health and safety issue and it is quite intimidating to say the least..DO AS THE ROMANS DO
positiveblackman1 11 months ago
@positiveblackman1 If you bother to read opposition news reports from Middle eastern countries will will find that rape is a lot more common place than in the west, and as a bonus to womens rights in these countries the raped women is blamed and is quite often senenced to death (By stoning?).
