  • ironically that oven looks way cooler than the one we have now

  • That's my mommy!

  • LOL light bulbs not included

  • hey mom wanna lick the spooon??

  • Little boys loved these as they could always get free cake around the neighborhood ; when their mothers denied them their rightful cake, they would just go a few doors down and little Angie was having fun "baking"; then he's go to Susie's house for some more cake (they were small), then Holly's, Gardenia's, Jenny's. etc.

Yummy cake but it will spoil your appetite if you eat enough of them! ;)

  • Easy Bake Oven

Showing little girls where they belong since 1972

  • @futurewrestleler pppsssttt, yeah you wish.... :P

  • How. Is a lightbulb cause a fire :/ now there's no lightbulb

  • you must be old if you recorded that video in 1972 LOL

  • Hey Mom, wanna lick the spoon? Sure honey. Soon as you go to bed, Daddy's gonna lick Momma!!

  • @cptnkirko LAWL!! XD

  • how on earth did I get here from Busoni's Fantasia Contrapuntistica?

  • I have only bad memories of easy bake!

My sister had one and left it on when we went to the store one day.

When we got back home there was all these fire trucks in front of our house.. well the big smoky hole that was our house!

  • damn this commercial is so relaxing

  • Trouble is, with the US Government cracking down on incandescent light bulbs (for what reason, God only knows), you won't be able to use your Easy Bake oven anymore. Thanks for killing childhood fun, all you hippie treehuggers (and Democrats).

  • How come I was never told these existed?

  • compare easy bake and this

    /watch?v=a8qb20B6X4k&feature=relmfu

  • I still use mine XD

  • Nothin' like heatin' up stuff with light bulbs. lol

  • Awww. :3 I have one but I wanted the original one.

  • ...my mom had this in 78'

My sister had this in 92"

I had it in 02" three generations of easy bake :3

  • Yea yea..I'm only 16 and had no childhood..

    I envy you people!! Dx

  • Thumbs up if you're a guy who was bitter because only girls got toys that made food.

  • @LENTICULARPLASTIC No but i had the science lab where i made my own gummy goo stuff and ate it :D.

  • i want one.

  • I had one in the mid-70's we got from a garage sale. Mom refused to buy the Easy Bake mises, though. They were like, 3 times the cost of a whole regular sized box of cake mix. I made Mom a birthday cake in it.

  • @HGbunny I remember people saving those small packages so they could keep the measurements correct when they used other mixes.

  • naughty daughter ....lick my spoon Mommy! bahahaha!

  • i have the newer one from 2000 something and its so good! but i ran out of mixes so now i cant find any in the store. but its waaaaaaaaay better than that girl gourmet crap.

  • What fond memories of my avocado Easy-Bake Oven. I made pizzas and cakes. I also had a yellow one. The light bulb was a mystery to me because I lived in such a fantasy world. Life was so cool being a child in the sixties.

  • she will grow up to be a very obedient house wife.

  • I still have the easy back oven my parents bought me for christmas in 1967

  • My neighbor had this toy in the mid 70's. The cakes were like rubber.

  • @roperkids yum

  • lighty bulks not included LOL

  • I had an Easy Bake oven.....the early '90s version, that is. I think I only used it....twice?

  • @themostrandomchick24 Me too lol I was too young to use it myself

  • My sister had one of these in the late 60's....unfortunately everything tasted like it had dropped out of a cows ass

  • i had one as well but im 21 so i had the 90s version of course:P I hear that throw out there years kids favorite treats get different tastes....meaning i wonder if easy bake food from the 70s tasted different then the easy bake from the 90s

  • i had 5 easy bake ovens!I'm serious.

  • I had an easy bake oven!

  • Marge: Homer, do you really think you should be baking while driving?

Homer: Aww, Marge, that's why I bought it.

  • My friend Jennifer had one of these. We used it to melt crayons!

  • @shmuli9 haha! That's awsome!

  • @shmuli9 Y would u use it to melt crayons?

  • Cooking with a lightbulb ! How many watts would I need for a large pepperoni pizza?

  • @xdgtrel my father refused to buy me this, saying this was waaaay to much money for a large lightbulb.

(and it was not even included in this version!!!)

  • Wow. Judging from her 'underwhelmed' reaction, me thinks that Little Suzy has been dipping into Mom's valium stash.

  • I loved these when I was little. Ironically, why not just buy a real cake? It's real, you can help your mom make it (if you're little-or do it yourself), it's easier to decorate and it's BIGGER. Oh gosh, now I'm starving :P

  • awe this is so cute (: I wish I was kid in the 70's but no! I had to be born in the stupid 90s lol. but its all just so cute, the clothes, the way they talk & just everything. <3

  • @DropLoveNotBombs I agree; the ads seem a little more innocent back then, Great comment

  • "Be a Betty Crocker Baker, Make a Betty Crocker Cake, in your Betty Crocker Easy Bake Oven"

  • Omgggg i rmb having onne :DDDD

  • Sooo cute haha!

  • I had that exact same oven! It was great, but nobody ever bought me any new cake mixes, and they didn't give you very many to start with. Those things had a learning curve too...so, the first three were inedible.

  • @escapethevillage LoL, my sister had one, and no one ever bought her any more cake mixes either. We tried shoving other foods inside, but it didn't quite work the same. :)

  • @escapethevillage Me too! Mom tried to adapt a recipe for me after the mixes were gone, but no go. After that I just used it as a doll accessory with no cooking. But boy, do I remember the avocado green finish!

  • @Trund27 I want an avocado green fridge.

  • @adelgado75 That would be sweet. I loved the colour-coordinated appliances of the past; you could have a whole kitchen set in avocado, or pumpkin or baby blue....!!

  • @adelgado75 haha I want a harvest gold stove LOL

  • @Trund27 Mine was a bright Pink

  • oh my god, the people who made demolition man were right! except were watching old advertisements on the internet instead of listening to them on the radio! LOL

  • I had this oven ..the finished " cake" tasted like a mix between play-dough and mud..threw it out in the backyard where it petrified..the birds and stray cats wouldn't even touch it!!

  • I had one of these! ^_^

  • Oh..shut the fuck up..its a toy you morons. You idiots find something wrong with everything. My brother helped me bake in mine when we were little.Does that make him a fag?? No..so shut the fuck up you pea-brained twats!

  • The girl sounds like she's not interested in the toy.

  • This was an ideal item for children with aspirations of the culinary arts.

  • Women... Always thinking about the kitchen.

  • Good old vintage music.

  • where is the ez bake oven for boys I ask you?

  • @VampyOne Boys aren't women, therefore we need not this portable oven.

  • @kimimaro9979 I am quite aware of that..it was meant as a joke. I just never understood why anything needed to be so sexist. I needed not the ez bake oven either. Some girls want more than barefoot and pregnant

  • @vampirelady14 We dont like those kind.

  • @VampyOne actually there is one, i think i saw it on unwrapped when i was channel surfing with my grandparents when i was little. it's called the queasy bake oven. it's real, i might get it for my nephew since it is kind of cool

  • "It's the most beautiful oven I've ever seen !" (Bare feet and pregnancy sold separately)

  • This commercial used time-lapse photography. The actual cake wasn't baked till Reagan took office in 1981.

  • I wanted one of those when I was young, I bought my niece one and we used to bake little cakes together. My nephew got one too, but you could cook Mac and Cheese and oher foods with his.

  • This commercial freaks me out

  • Maybe fat people could benefit from this...

  • Lol, I had one it took forever to bake anything!!

  • Yes, the women libers at the time, (remember them?) hated this product. They didn't want their little girls learning to bake for males. Now almost 40 years later, look how many woman love to stay in the kitchen and cook and bake for their men! Whoever thought of this was a GENIUS. We need more men to think like that today!

  • Plenty of men cook and bake for their girlfriends/fiancees/wives today. That sexist philosophy of women having to stay in the kitchen is long dead.

  • @arhuxtable Yes but its still funny.

  • Back when I was around five, I made the mistake of agreeing to play house with a girl who had an easy-bake oven. I played the son and walked in and announced

I was quitting school and moving in with my girlfriend. Her parents spent an hour

getting her head out of the thing.

  • damn this is old!

  • I had to take mine to school in first grade to roast pumpkin seeds. I still laugh and shake my head when I think about roasting pumpkin seeds by lightbulb! My niece has the Easybake Microwave Oven.

  • I Have To Agree With The Guy Who Had To Roast Pumpkin Seeds With This, It Is Actually Funny LOL!

  • @sleptIate NO I AIN'T

  • @sleptIate You Can Try, But You ARE GOING TO BE WRONG!

  • I wanna kick this commercial's ass.

  • I guess back then, we just knew not to stick your fingers inside where the bulb is HOT!!! My sister had one.

  • I wanted one of these so badly when I was little, but my mother feared that I'd burn the house down, so I never got one. :-( She never let me have a Lite-Brite either for pretty much the same reason.

  • Don't let your little brother get his mitts on it - cooking dolls and car models lmao

  • I tried to save money on electricity by putting an LED light in mine. It don't work any more!

    J/K!

    LOL!!!!

  • I cooked a complete Thanksgiving dinner using an Easy Bake oven!

  • CANDY?!?!?! FOR BREAKFAST?!?!?!

  • ooooh....i accidently melt my Barbie's (Stacey) foot on my Easy Bake oven in 1972!

  • I was 9 when I got mine but only ever got to make one cake. Still I want to have an easybake oven like the one I had and was so proud of. The cake I made tasted fine;)

  • My sister gave one to my nephew. He loved it.

He was so proud of the cakes, but I had to warn people to just pretend to eat it, it was crunchy and nasty.

  • I remember when I bought mine the cookie was softer than the cake LOL.

  • how old was the little girl in this video?

  • Before purchasing an Easy Bake Over for a Little Girl. How old do you recommend the Girl to be before knowing that she will be responsible enough to use one?

It's a question I must ask all of those watching this, in terms of advice.

  • I want to buy that for my 6 years old Girl Second Cousin who is always in the Kitchen with me when I am baking a cake. She loves to help me bake!

I am sure that they still make those today. Not too long ago, I actually seen these being sold at Wal-Mart, but they're not Betty Crocker's Easy Bake Oven.

  • my cousin had one and we tried to cook a damn meal with it XD took like 4 hours XD ah the days before microwave

  • OMG!! That jingle is gonna stick with me all day!!

I had one..baked my mud pies in it!

  • I still have scars on my hands from my Easy Bake. That metal rack in the oven could get pretty toasty.

  • @thegirl44

Yes it could! I singed myself a few times as well..no scars , tho!

  • The old Easy Bakes were so much nicer! i had a 90s easy bake although the new ones are a lot bolder looking they have alot more accessories now too! i just remember the butter melter and icy! and the knife LOL

  • i think you have a easy bake oven so you can be a good baker like your mom

  • And if you put too strong a light bulb in, everything would burn. Sorry to say but my mom did a lot of that with her real oven. Guess that's why we ate out a lot.

  • Lick that spoon mom, yeah!!

  • LMAO!

    HAHAHA!

  • @passlion haha

  • @passlion XD

  • @passlion Hahahahaha, I was thinking impure thought myself. Hahahahahaha. Yeah, lick it mommy.

  • I always wanted an easy bake oven, I goy my niece one when she was little

  • I had one. It was fun! I bought my 5 year old niece one. She used it one time, and then her mom sold it at a yard sale. I was so pissed.

  • why did she sell it?

  • *be a betty crocker baker make a betty crocker cake, in your--* the song is stuck in my head... memories... :-)

  • Heard of a girl I knew who set hers ablaze in the effort to cook a London Broil.

  • lol!!!!

  • Popcorn does'nt work well in the oven, either.

  • I remember having a yellow Easy Bake

Oven when It came out in 1971, I was 10 years old, it was alot of fun, I'd be in the basement making alot of cakes and goodies.

  • Mine was light blue!

  • HA this all old!

  • I always had a hard time finding extra mixes after the first ones were gone. I only remember making one cake when I was little and it fell as soon as I took it out.

  • yeah, i heard those ovens were dangerous, but

hey, those r the risks of baking and cooking..

  • i had one before i was getting my pan out nd i burned my arm..... i had to get a cast for like a month it hurt so bad

  • ummmmmmm

    since when are ovens beautiful????

  • oh joy it's not ONLY the most beautiful oven EVER but it has COUPONS!

i tottaly want to get it now

    -rolls eyes-

  • i have a new one

  • i want an easy bake oven!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I wish I had an easy bake oven when I was 8.

  • Earlier this month I got an easy bake oven from a yard sale and I will be 16 in February.

  • "it's the most beautiful thing i've ever seen!"

  • Oh, lol!

  • yes, be good little girls so you can grow up to be a good little homemaker mom!

  • I never got any toy that had to be plugged in. My parents were afraid I'd get burned. Jeez.

  • woooow

  • I bet that little girl has a beautiful oven now.

  • It was like a conspiracy to turn young girls into cake backing stepford wives.

  • It was like a conspiracy to turn young girls into cake backing stepford wives.

Maybe so, but it was still among my favorite toys as a little girl. I love baking to this day, thanks to the Easy Bake Oven, and I bought my niece one for Christmas. Too bad she doesn't share my enthusiasm of baking goods in her own oven.

  • This is really bad quality. The blinking screen kinda hurt my eyes!

  • OMG... the easy bake oven was invented that early!.. I was seriously amazed by that.

  • i kinda didnt see nothing

  • all my shit caught on fire!

  • ooooohhh it comes with betty crocker coupons

  • I wanted one of those even though they were marketed as strictly for girls.

  • This commercial is only a minute long. Is your attention span really that short?

  • holy crap commercials were long back then!!! I was born in the 90s dude! this is crazy!!

  • i had a Lammie Pie

doll in late 60's-early 70's. it would say several things when you pulled the string. my favorite was "will ya love me always? will ya will ya, will ya?"and "sometimes I'm good and sometimes I'm baaad" anyone else have 1?

  • lol cute...

  • Mmmmm! What could be yummier than a "cake" made in an oven powered by lightbulbs?!

  • OMFG one of my favorite quotes....:mom! do you wanna lick the spoon?! i mean come on wtf but still great vid 4/5

  • I remember making my poor father eat the crap I made in that thing!

  • wtf??? lol...she was all excited that she could boss her mom around and tell her that she can lick the spoon ha ha sick....

  • Oh I want that! :p I have the nineties one still from when I was a little girl, but I would love this one too even more!! :D

  • If u didnt have one of these as a girl.

Its a few things you HAD to have as a little girl in the 70's

    Barbie (DreamHouse, with the corvette)

and a Easy Bake Oven (I had Holly Hobbie)

and a Farrah Fawcett or Barbie Head

Oh yeah a Baby-Alive. I wasnt into baby dolls so I didnt care.

if you didnt have at least two of these just dont get out bed Xmas morning lol

    I KIIID!!

  • "It's the most beautiful oven I've ever seen !" Are you kidding me ?

  • <
