Yeah, Ric have a varnish on 99% of their guitars fretboards, & it's really nice to play on! I don't really notice too much of a difference from oiled fretboards, IMO the finish on the back of the neck influences hand-speed a lot more, it sure is nice to look at though.

I was concentrated on the shiny fretboard. It has a finish on it? How do you like that compared to an unfinished (oiled, maybe) fretboard?
