That is why i don't understand why they don't perscribe medical marijuana to people under 18 who have SEVERE pain diseases like RSD or terminal cancer pains but they will give morphine, Oxycontin, and narcotic drugs.
Very important topic. I had to tell a friend that all I would do is be a friend. No money would be given under any circumstances, because the money would likely go for drugs.
alcohol and opiates are the only substances that the withdrawals can kill you... several commonly prescribed painkillers have opiate derivatives in them or are opiate based.
Awesome video. I've been there, I was in a major car accident & had to have 5 different surgeries then accidently got addicted to the pain medication, I really wish I was more educated on how harmful the pills I thought were helping me really were. I did eventually have to quit cold turkey as well, it was complete hell then, but I'm glad i did get off of them before it got worse.
I still do struggle with pain from the accident, but i'd rather be in pain then have an uncontrollable addiction.
@JephProductions I just wish someone would have told me about all the side effect and the withdrawal symptoms before I started taking them. VA docs like to toss meds at you and send you out the door. Thank you for sharing your story :)

I am terrified of becoming addicted to my pain medication... It doesn;t work anyways so that;s why I don't take it.
