I saw this movie today and all i have to say is simply heartwarming and i was like teary eyed during the whole movie. I"m a 38 year old gentleman and i remember watchin this when i was like 11. It never gets old reason being is that this movie takes you away from all your problems that you deal with in life. As walter said in the beginning as along as their are muppets. I saw this trailer when I went to see "Bridesmaids" with my mom, and this trailer came on. Then the Muppets popped up, and I was, like, "WTF".

@TherealRNO Those guest stars on previous movies were cameos, unlike this one which stars douchbag segal and amy adams. The Muppets are suppose to be the stars of the movie, like the originals.

The point of this trailer was to trick the viewer into thinking that the film was another cheesy romantic comedy, when the film is about The Muppets going back to their roots, which Segal & Adams (as mega fans themselves) help out with, whereas their on-screen characters' love for each other--presumably, from what I saw--is merely a subplot, for remember that many movies have a central theme, but yet, have many side stories to engage the audience.

@TherealRNO Go watch The Muppets Take Manhattan trailer and tell me if you see one big named celebrity in that preview. If dipshit segal would have wanted to make a true muppet movie he would have left his ass out of the trailer. Muppet movies dont have a subplot and they dont need big name actors or actresses to sell there movies.

@MayorMcCheese78: Honestly, as much as we Muppet fans love them, kids now either have no concept of who these characters are or they see them as characters for infants, so as such, this movie is meant to bring the characters back to the forefront & since Segal is a Muppet fan himself, his self-insertion into the trailer is like wish-fullfillment.

@TherealRNO I dunno what you're talking about. When I have kids, they're TOTALLY growing up on the muppets (*looks at own video assortment of muppet movies/shows, and even fraggles series*). Saying kids have no context for the muppets is like saying no-one watches Disney shows anymore.

@carlotta4th: But with Anne Sweeney in charge, the Disney Channel is NO LONGER the Disney we know from the film classics or even the programs from the 90s & backward (ex: Vault Disney). The fact that it was she who said that girls are more into looking good as opposed to liking princesses at age 6 shows the decline of things as they stand. Ditto for CARTOON Network, thanks to CN Real, ushered in by moron, Stuwart Synder & Kid's WB being killed by Jamie Kellner.
