By the way, this march was Adolph Hilters favorite, and was used extensively during every Nazi Rally and Newsreel. It was banned for 50 years from performance in Germany.

That is not the march's fault. It is a fine piece of music. Could have been better played. There are no real dynamic changes, and pitch is questionable.

Hitler was an strong enemy of the late Austro-Hungarian Empire and the imperial family. The Symbol of this Empire was the double headed Eagle, to which this march refers to.

In Austria this march ist still today a popular austrian military march and was never banned from performance.
