in the end capitalism is better than socialism or communism.

  • A lot of things that are supposed to be in Seattle or near seattle are filmed in Vancouver...Like Twilight. A lot of stuff used to be filmed there, but our glorious city and mayors realized the profit they could make and jacked up the price to film in the city. So rather than pay the money, film makers went else where with similar climate for cheaper. Hence Vancouver.

  • Anybody know the name of the movie they are shooting in New Westminster right now?

  • The reason directors film their Seattle based movies in Vancouver is to save money.

  • Why Vancouver though? You can tell by the stores and everything around there that it's not Seattle though, weird. Should be Battle in Vancouver.

  • lol the earlier comments are a bunch of people complaining about how it looks nothing like seattle. well, apperently the movie got great reviews and who cares if it's not filmed in seattle?

  • Thats hella gay they should filmed everything in seattle

  • lol this wasnt filmed in seattle? GOD DAMN YOU CANADA!!! this is the 2nd movie i know u took from us! lol jk, Traveling is the other movie for those who wanna know stars jeniffer aniston and aaron eckhart

  • It was filmed in a little of both. They couldn't recreate some elements of Seattle, lol. Canada steals all our filming locations.

  • yea socialism, communism, capitalism, its all SHIT.. i laughed when they "marched" by the church of scientology...

  • thats not even close i was there

  • fuck communism and capitalism. in short, fuck work. remember when we could do things be ourselves?

  • has this movie already been released?

  • March 28th

  • nice. thanks!

  • Vancouver is definately not seattle. Seattle is the best place in the world film it here man. At hempfest 2007 bunch of zombies came attackin us on our way out protesting IT WAS CRAaaazy i was trippin.

  • Michelle Rodríguez its in that movie?

  • ...why has this been turned into a movie...

  • I remember a lot more broken glass, fire, and tears

  • Make this into a good thing. At every showing of your local movie hand out a flyer, or a fighting for our lives, and explain what anarchist believe. This is an awesome propaganda opportunity and it will be coming right when the battles for the rnc and dnc are coming out.

  • 7th & Pine got pretty ugly.

  • I wonder what John Zerzan is doing right now.

  • I know one thing he is not doing. Living in some forest, not speaking or writing. At least the Unabomber lived his ideology to some degree.

  • Anarcho-primitivism just happens to be very applicable for daily life. My Identitarian system draws from it ... it's nihilism put to practice. More is on my YouTube channel.

  • "it's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything"

    Fight Club, great movie.

  • I checked it out. Very interesting ideology.

  • What do we have to overcome? To fight for?

Only technology and consumerism stands in the way.

And it's because of technology, post-industrial capitalism grows, and we are exposed to more people at work + things at home.

From all that, there's more stress. Identitarianism fights back; the Serbian police attacks the stress in one's mental Kosovo. Plus the incentive ...

  • bullshit. why does hollywood have to turn everything into a product wrapped in cellophane? I was in the real "battle in seattle," it was something genuine and real in a world of grade a bullshit. fuck this hollywood crapola.

  • I hear ya, jwallbanger. But with Woody Harrelson on board, a pretty progressive guy, it might be a few notches above the usual H'w'd crapola. (Not that I'm expecting much...)

  • Yeah, I did a web search on the real event after I shot this footage, and the turtles were there but seemed quite different.

    But there were turtles.

  • wtf is up with the turtle people? looks nothing like the real battle of seattle....

  • NWCN+KIRO+ KING5=total coverage. Turtles in peaceful start, with union groups, etc. Later rogue eastside cop beat old woman in the back on her knees, she didn't even expect it. Another sprayed ppl. in face in their car, asking how to get out of area. Cops were freakin, not allowed to eat, go to the can, standing up on that cold pavement during whole thing, ordered to ignore crimes. Reichart cited cop union to not fire the rogues. Never expected this in SEA, but it was planned.

  • I was there I remember, but all I remember is running around smashing windows while the lib-left pussies and PC thugs were getting their asses handed to them

  • Probably because it was one of the biggest riots in American history, lasting 5 days. And not just any riot, but a riot of injustice showing just what it means to have a corrupted government and police force while protesters simply wanted to deliver messages in peace.

  • This movie is gonna suck big time! Looks nothing like the real WTO riot! Why can't they just spend some extra money shooting it in Seattle, because Vancouver BC looks nothing like Seattle!?

  • They did a crappy job of trying to make it look like Seattle.

  • just a thought: it might look better from the angle of the film camera.

  • WTf, kudo 7 news?

  • KUDO, HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA! :oD

  • wow, they cleaned hHastings up for these shots!!!!
