Love the group. Love the song. (I've never heard the demo. Thank you). Love your video. Only one suggestion and I'm sure you are not going to change anything now...I looked up once and thought I saw Dick Cheney. It really should have been Spiro. I think you might be a tad younger than me though. I still remember when Nixon was defending Sprio Agnew. Those were the days. It took me YEARS before I could say Pledge of Allegience after Kent State. Thanks for the music.
Great homage to Cipollina, Sorry to say that the singing distracts from the brilliance of the intrumental. Very few guitar players can touch Cipollina at his best. The world will look back at 1960s as a landmark.
i think this is a fantastic video. thanks for posting it... but i have a hard time believing this is a demo from the 60s especially with the new years' eve poster.,,still it's very nice to watch
Love the lyrics, I always thought they were Morrisons but im enjoying all the earlier versions. We do a version of this but with different music for some strange reason we do it to a few bars of Bert Jansch! Great video.
Thanks for the fast reply about the origins of this. At the moment I'm listening to the same Jim Murray performing the same song on 02/04/1967 at the Fillmore. It's on Wolfgang's Vault. Thanks for the posting. The older I get the more I appreciate these guys.
From the book & 4 CD set "Love is the Song We Sing - San Francisco Nuggets". Excerpt presented under Fair Use, material remains the copyright of the original holder.
I saw this band & Jim Murrar played the Blues Harp, Guitar, & Sang. He quit after the Monterey Pop Festival & is on the outtakes from that gig as QMS never signed to let them be filmed. They played more Blues back in those days & what a band they were.
Who do I love? She's at 1:30.

This is Great-These's are my guys before dino-This is the real QMS to me-Nice you gave Jim Murray his due. He was with them from the start.
1965-67 he was a big part of the band & lot of people don't know he was there at all.
Thanks for that too!
What a Flashback!

Wow. What a treasure from the vaults; Never
knew this ever existed. Jim Murray's vocals were dead on and he never sounded better. Glad
that more and more people are re-discovering
QMS; Thank God for YouTube and all the great
unseen clips of this band now being posted. I
used to sit for hours staring at the album covers, just imagining what these bands looked
like when they played live. The fuzzy clip of
Quicksliver playing in the background: where is this from? Human Be-In? GG Park?
