Israel controls its own fate. The survival of Israel depends on its own 'inner core strength' and not on the level of external threats. That being said, as long as Israel stays united, beleive that a true peace can be reached, strive to mend relations with the west and its neighbours, continually improve its economic and social status in the world and maintain its technologically advanced defenses (IDF, IAF and navy) it will survive any threats that it faces in the future.
