@Extremegerbil It was on my stills camera, plus I now record direct through my laptop using recording software and my Line 6 effects box. Also I was given the LP and it's an Epiphone, not Gibson, and being a student I can't afford microphones.

@jacprc Out of the blue idea.. If you plug the amp adapter from your guitar to a jack that converts it to 3.5mm then plug it in your microphone jack you can get crystal clear sound .. i think.

@jacprc i think the distortion sounds awesome ... i have the line 6 spider cube ... but i never use it i use my peavey valveking with a boss mega distortion but i cant seem to find a good crunchy distortion like this ... but maybe it has a bit too much reverb :P

The lyrics are purely meant as a joke, the band is not 'gay', have you even heard of Electric Six? I liked the riff and the music and decided to learn it, how incredibly homosexual, good one.

@DMSProduktions This was four years ago, when I was just learning and was not skilled enough to pick things up by ear, however I think you will find the chords are perfectly correct to the song. The only thing that is wrong with this is are the solos (slightly, 1st one mainly) and how slick the whole thing sounds. I also tabbed the solos by ear, defeating your argument about using tabs. I am a much more accomplish guitarist today. Don't be so arrogant..

I realise now this cover is slightly wrong, have a look at my band video to see it better, sound quality on it isn't great but will get the idea. Basically on the G-string I am playing fret 12-14 and I am bending on the 14th fret occasionally. So that's just pushing the string up to make the note higher. You can get the rythmn from the video and that's esentially it. It can be done on the B-string on frets 8-10, same technique, hope this helps :)

I've said before use the standard one from ultimate-guitar and as regards to the solos I worked them out for myself. It is good to work things out for yourself. It is a nice easy solo, just listen to the song to work it out.

I don't really know, it sounds perfect when you play along, but regarding good tabs, I haven't found a perfect set of this song, Most of the solos I tabbed myself, even then they are not right, but cheers :D
