@thequenchiestcactus I'm not saying you actually are an imbecile or that people who don't write according to grammar rules are stupid, it's just that they present themselves that way

Imagine being in charge of hiring new people for a huge company, and that you had a choice between trusting two people with the job. The former is wearing a tidy business suit, is serious, polite and respectful, while the latter enters wearing baggy, casual clothes and talks loudly. Which is more trustworthy?

@DisembowelMe I don't know who I would trust? A nice suit on a person is a sign of style or attention to prevailing ideals perhaps but it does not mean anything about a persons ability to do a job. A baggy guy turned out to be my best employee. Amazing guy.

As a job employer, you have the choice between two men; the other polite, nice but determined, while the other knocks down books while walking in without picking them up all "whatup" and puts his dirty feet on the table as he sits down. Which one would you choose?

Even if the latter was in fact a saint in disguise, he presented himself as a douche, kind of like the person I was replying to presented him/herself as an idiot by using horrible fucking grammar.

@thequenchiestcactus I'm honestly trying to help here; people, in general, won't be able to take you seriously when you type like your fingers are the size of snickers bars. If they won't straight up think consciously about how uneducated you must be, they will arrive at that conclusion subconsciously.

As unfair as it might seem, a display of such a lack of grasp of the English language (especially if it's your first language) is a sign of.. well.. intellectual inferiority.
